Fans of the Food & Wine Classic taking place each Autumn at the magnificent Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorthave cause to be very excited.  For the first time in its eight years, the Classic will play host to a grand tasting event by a master sommelier.

The event will focus on the Italian regions of Barolo and Barbaresco with a focus on Nebbiolo grape found in Northern Italy and will be led by Master Sommelier Matthew Citriglia, one of only 149 master sommeliers in the Americas.  During the tasting event,  he will showcase rare vintages from the region making this a must-do event for wine lovers.

Citriglia currently holds the post of Director of Education for Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits and is among the longest-tenured master sommeliers in Florida with over 30 years of experience.  The event provides a unique opportunity for visitors to Food & Wine Classic to learn from one of the industries leading experts while in an intimate setting.
