BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
From Beers and Ears. Love Angry Orchard cider! Every once in a while we get lucky and find it on tap at some of our local watering holes. A Trip to the Angry OrchardJune 28th, 2012 by Scott In Walt Disney World Beer ReviewsRecently Disney seems to be adding more gluten free options to its selection. The newly-opened Art of Animation Resort has a few gluten free options in its food court Landscape of Flavors. One of these is the hard cider I’m trying tonight: Angry Orchard Hard Cider from Cleveland, OH. Turns out Angry Orchard has a couple of flavors, but Disney serves the Crisp Apple variety.Angry Orchard Crisp Apple is made with a whole load of apple varieties, including Amere de Berthecourt, Beden, Medaille D’or, Michelin, Binet Rouge, Brairtot Fuji, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Joana Gold, Elstar, Granny Smith, Gala, and Braeburn. All those are juiced, blended together and fermented with a white wine yeast. The cider is also wood-aged to increase the complexity of the flavors. So how is it? Well, it smells and tastes like apples, which should come as no surprise. Sweet and tart are the main notes, with just a hint of booziness. It’s really easy to drink and has a good amount of carbonation. This is a good choice not only for those who are looking to avoid gluten, but anyone looking for a cider to drink.http://beersandears.net/2012/06/a-trip-to-the-angr-orchard/
