Each cabin is approximately 500 sq ft and sleeps a maximum of 6 children/adults (babies under 2 not included in this total). The “wilderness” theme starts with the log cabin feel of the exterior and carries through to the interior design which includes lantern lamps, furniture which resembles being constructed from tree branches, and other rustic décor.

Cabins contain one bedroom containing a full-size bed plus a set of bunk beds, as well as a full-size fold-down Murphy bed in the living room. There is also a full bathroom with tub and shower, living area and fully stocked kitchen with dining table that seats 6. Outside there is a deck, picnic table and charcoal grill (no fire pits provided / no campfires allowed).

CABIN LOOP 2100

None of the cabin loops have comfort stations. If you are staying in a cabin and need to be near a comfort station, the 2100 loop is your best bet.

The following info. is current as of 3/4/12 and is courtesy of FortFiends.net member mouseketab...

"Here I am looking at the comfort station that is located in the 1100 Loop.

I turn around and here is this sidewalk. See the cabins!!

Continuing down the sidewalk

And you come upon the following cabins very close!!

So there you have it. A comfort station that seems like it was almost designed to be used by the cabin dwellers!!"

We stayed in one of the cabins in January 2011 during Marathon weekend. We loved it! It was so nice having a kitchen, even though we only had snacks and drinks in it! My Mama was able to hang out at the cabin while we went to the park, she can't do that at a hotel because she is unable to go eat and find her way back without us.

It was so much more relaxing than the regular resorts. I so enjoyed sitting on the deck with a drink and my feet up after a busy day in the parks. The living room area with a couch and the chairs also helps one to relax on vacation, you're not having to sit on a bed all the time. Two seperate sleeping areas also helps to make one's vacation less stressful!

The best thing about the cabins is that they are at the FORT!! There is so much to do there or it's just a great place to sit on the porch at Crockett's and relax! You can watch the fireworks from the beach, bike around the Fort, see Chip & Dale at the Sing-along and watch a movie.

I highly recommend the Cabins if you are not able to camp!

Thanks for the cabin section. We have stayed in a cabin every year since 2003 because we love  the Fort and are unable to own a camper. There is no place in WDW that even comes near to the Fort. We have stayed in three different loops and have walked around all of them. If I can help with any info about the cabins please ask. It is our home away from home.
