The biggest problem that I see in this debate is, although bicycles have a right to the road there is the whole matter of physics going on here. The smaller vehicle and its occupant can sustain greater injury than a party in a larger vehicle. Additionally, the larger the vehicle the longer distance is required for stopping. It really is not a matter of who is in the right, it is a matter of simple physics & inertia.
