According to my DH the Navy is researching "stuff"Don't you think its funny that a "research" vessel is using the navy's stealth technology?
What the heck are they researching?
I'm calling BS on the navy.

The lamppost are not hard but they are nerve racking. The drilling of the large globe is a little scary. If you want to private message me I can give you the part numbers we used and answer any more in depth details. DH made mine in March

My husband and I either walk or ride bikes. We have not rented a golf cart either time we went. There are internal fort busses with several bus stops and I found it not a great distance to walk to anything if you are used to walking. I would recommend a small flash light for after dark. there are a lot of darker areas on the walking paths and they are also used by bikes. the flashlight would make it easier for you to be seen and to see.

We where at the 1700 loop in May with my little very fluffy white dog for two weeks. She stayed clean the whole time. We do not walk her on pavement because she picks up oil off of it but she did not pick up much off of the ground around the campsite.

We just made two Mickey lampposts. Start early it took us a while to get all the pieces. Unless you live in Florida you have to order them. We had to use amazon to get the globes we wanted.
Most of the bike rides took us fifteen minutes. You need lights after dark. It is really dark in some areas.

We looked the ship up online. There are pictures of it on the internet.

The Navy ship is a research vessel. It is called the Sea Fighter.

We are in Maryland and have to pay for a storage site that is outside. We do not cover it but I think we will start to cover the tires. We are starting to see some weather damage on them. It is a grass area.

We use bicycles instead of a golf cart. They have great paths for them.

I don't find the generator loud but we only use it for short periods of time. Usually at rest areas to fix food.

I don't get out of my seat when we are traveling but I do like the fact we can see what is going on inside the motorhome. Things not secured quite correctly and things like that.

I have a four year old Mini Cooper with original tires. My front tires are wearing faster than my rear tires.

When I bought our used Motorhome I found I needed to wash any cloth that I could. Curtains and seat covers and let them air dry. Now I spray the seat cushions and the mattress with a light mist of fabreze and let it dry before shutting it up for storage.

No need to be quick. Just wait until the bus pulls up....roll the stroller up to the door and, while blocking the door, take your time unlocking and removing the cooler. Slowly hand the cooler to a family member, and then proceed to fold up the stroller.
It's fine....really. If someone complains, tell them that Lou said it was ok. :rofl2:
Don't forget to take the very first seat you come to and leave the stroller in the aisle in front of you so no one can get past.

Colleges are pushing internships. My daughters internship with the Navy helped her get a job with Boeing.

That is a fantastic display!

1600 was closed last week and was still closed when we left on Friday.

DS's birthday is also May 20. What a great day. Hope your birthday is spectacular.

DH loves his Bose noise canceling headphones.
-
Yes, they are really a thing, really popular with frequent fliers, to drown out the airplane noise
I don't own a pair, cause the airplane noise doesn't bother me.

We are currently using a Fort modem and our personal wireless router. It is working perfect for DH to do his on line masters seminars.
