The pasta sounds great. What about Gheradelli?

Don't put decorations or things close to the road. I learned the hard way and lost some lights. I would leave a four foot margin on the front of the site for not so great drivers and people trying to position bigger rigs.

Having followed your trip planning I just wanted to say even with there only being two of us and we have the savings to eat wherever we want I still prefer to eat at the rv with food I am use to. We usually just eat out for special foods.

Thank you for connecting the California Adventure buildings with the Disney Hollywood studio buildings. I have seen both places but did not connect them. I will pay more attention next trip.

Gumbo in a bread bowl (my Disneyland favorite!)

I have been to all of the places on your upcoming trip. That will be a fantastic adventure.

Your suppose to bring your kids to Disney? Is that a rule? If so, I have broken it many times and plan to break it many more times!

Not sure when we will get back to the Fort. We are waiting on a graduation, a promotion, and a move. We hope to meet up with all of you again in the future.

Pictures are great. Have a fantastic stay!

I can never stay awake in any of the shows. I only go in them if DH wants to and promises to wake me up at the end.

Something has come up and I am not able to go the first weekend of May. Hope you all have fun.

I think I just gained 5 pounds looking at the pictures.

We ordered ours off of eBay. The small ones from Home Depot were the wrong plastic and I had to return them.

I am happy to hear other people have what is considered different eating habits. I have had a lot of comments on my eating habits. No oils, butter margarine or any other fats. Very little meats but a ton of carbs. Works for me but probably not for others.

Is the primary purpose of the drive camping or sightseeing small beach towns?

Can you come up with a clever activity for candy and small items like a Halloween "Easter egg hunt". You could have them do it just before trick or treating so they will be distracted with their bag of treats.

Those are really cute!

Sounds like fun.

We bring plastic shower caps for the seats to keep them dry. They go on quickly and stay on with the elastic around the edges.

Our point is amount of time. A long weekend we fly and stay at a hotel. We only take the RV if it is at least a week stay not counting travel time.

I rode in the canoes around the island Labor Day weekend. Maybe they are seasonal.

There are a lot of very wealthy people in LA that would have no problems paying $11000 a year for dues. If you really want to see hippies you have to go to Portland Oregon. Seattle has the grunge yuppies.
