Hey, listen Susan, you've got 64 posts, so using the "I'm new" line to protect yourself from Snarkiness is going to end soon.

The official, unofficial, make it up as you go along FF.Net rule book states on page 467 sub section 12, paragraph 5, that we have to be nice to you for only the first 75 posts. Then watch out. If I can tick off Santa, I can tick off anyone.

I'm not so sure...I've been reading more than I post and some Fiends say you are really a nice guy;)

We've rented a GC off site during Christmas which is a must because of the shopping and looping. Every other trip we use our bikes, I like the extra exercise..and with my trusty basket i can fit a whoke day of poolside supplies in it. That being said, it might be hard on you with your little guy. If you use transportation, make sure you allow the extra time.

Most of our trips are last minute so we've had to do this a few times. We always cancel the end days no problem.

Trails End has mickey shaped waffles but not sure about the candy on top. Perhaps you can talk to the chef, they are very accommodating

If it was hit by lightening I would think it would have went up in flames pretty quickly or at least have some damage on the outside...Just my 2 cents..A non expert opinion

My 12 year old has been going alone for some time now. We started sending him to go buy something we may have needed and come back right away. He goes all around the Fort unsupervised but I always make sure he has his phone with him.

I read an article a while back that said public police officers are asked to park their vehicles out of site. Maybe that's the case here? I can't imagine Disney would choose to have police tape and let the cat out of the bag that bad things can happen at Disney...Pixie Dust can't fix everything

What about the neighbors? Do they know anything?

These are awesome!! I'm missing the creative gene, so I purchased an Olaf MB. (Notice my use of newly learned abbreviation). We have plenty more to experiment on from ideas. Thanks to a Fort CM , he told us how to stop them from getting sent for every trip.

Smoking Allowed at the Fort?

Official Response From the Walt Disney World Executive Offices:

"While smoking is not permitted inside cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness

Resort & Campground, smoking is allowed on cabin porches, at campsites,

and in the designated outdoor smoking locations throughout the

resort."

It drives me bat crazy when I see someone blatantly ignoring this rule. Last week someone was smoking on the Trails End porch on the back end near the arcade entrance. Do they not see the No Smoking sign??? Argh

Now that you explained it, it's a cute concept. How about cropping it so that we can see his paws clearly.
