lol Yeah I understand the Disney Nazi.  I  plan down to the minute and well in advance.  If you look at my trip ticker you can see I have a ways to go but Disney is a major trip, If you fail to plan to plan to fail.  That being said MK is the only park I take serious and I am extremely laid back with the others. 

Since this mama is down and out with severe morning sickness right now.  And no one wants to see what that looks like in a cute Snarky sweatshirt.   I have come up with the next best thing. 
 

Eating a WDW will cost my family a small fortune.  Christina, momofmany, had the idea of spliting meals between children to save a few bucks. I have also seen some sites claiming that it is better to order a kids meal. The burger might be a bit smaller but the amount of fries are the same and you get juice/milk and some fuit for less than an adult meal.  

So my questions are

1. What are the best places, QS or TS, that give you the most bang for your buck and could be split?

2. What are your thoughts on the childrens meals? Are there places where it is better to order a kids meal?

3. This question is more for Marty but other chime inas well. What have you found to be good bring along lunches? 

I am posting this question again because I think it got lost in the shuffle.  Would you say I should plan on the same travel times for all the main parks?

See I Have This Problem Where I See The Price And Don't Actually Multiply It For Our Family. Once I Do I Am Always Shocked. $200 To Feed My Crew!! I Can Make A Similar Breakfast At The Camper For $20. Better To Pocket The Money For Something Else Nonfood And Throw A Couple Of Breakfast Burritos In The Freezer.

Following I Too Would Like To See This. TCD Posted A More Detailed Shot Of A Walking Path That Went Between Sites. I Think A Map Like That Would Be Perfect.

I see it now, my mistake. A couple of things threw me but your right it is being made wider. 

Right now there is a walkway that goes right in front of the CP and into Adventure Land. I can't tell by the photo but it looks like they cut it off and put a little path connecting to a larger path.

I have no experiences with apps, other than the free one on my tablet that tells how many days until the next time I will be at WDW, Lord willing. (81 days!)

 

As far as when to leave the campsite, for a 9:00am opening, we left the campsite about 7:15am.  Not sure what time that got us to MK (using the resort boat and walking from the Contemporary boat dock to MK gates), but we were close to the front of the line to get into MK.  In fact, we were so far forward, we could only see part of the opening show by leaning back and craning our necks.

 

BTW, there is a restroom on the far left outside the gates to Epcot and MK.  We took turns visiting rest rooms after finished eating our breakfast while waiting for rope drop.
