  1. OK, Cody, now that you're a member. you'll have to take the official Fiend pledge, raise your left hand and repeat after me.

I pledge to no longer lurk, but will add my two cents to threads not only about the Fort and camping, but to threads pertaining to WDW and beyond

I also pledge to make a fool of myself from time to time by posting a funny or stupid comment that Lou will ridicule me for.

And I also pledge not to say anything nice about the COP, IASW, EWP, the Mermaid ride, SDMT, the Mono-fail, and the idiotic People Mover.

You also forgot that you must bring The Lou apple pie every time you come to the fort.

  2. I ran out of candy in an hour and I'd brought 40 lbs and was handing out one per kid!

It is a super fun time to be at the Fort.  Unfortunately because we use APs for 2 annual trips, we're going later this year and will miss it.

That being said, it really depends on where you are located.  The last time I went I bought at least 20 pounds of candy and got rid of only about half and I was giving 3 or 4 to each kid after a while.  I was in the 1600 loop.  I love going at Halloween...it really is one of my favorite times.

  3. WOW!   Thanks for the welcome and advice!

So, if I understand this correctly .. we park our vehicle, that we drove in on (and towed the popup with) in a parking lot elsewhere from the camping site?

No, your car can stay at the campsite with you and your popup at the campsite.  The only time you may need to park in the parking lot is if your site is not ready when you check in.  If you check in after 1 pm, it shouldn't be a problem.  But if you check in before 1 pm, your site may not be ready for you and you would have to park in the overflow lot.  They would then take your cell phone number and either text or call you later when your site is ready with your site number.  Hope this helps!

  4. Not a Braves fan?

    What-What-What?!

    LOL!  Good one.

    1.  true

    2.   :panic:   Does. Not. Compute.

    I know right?

Well, I have nothing against the Braves.  I would root for them over other teams....just not the Indians.  I am a die hard Cleveland everything fan...they all tend to break my heart every year because they can't win anything to save their lives.  But I still love them.

  5. My cat can open the closet door adn the bedroom doors but they are bifolds and she has figured out how to pull on the middle to open.

She has also figured out how to open the kitchen cabinet we keep her food in.

This video is awesome though. I love the dog waiting to be released.

My cats can open the closet doors (which are bifolds) as well.  My one cat actually ate through a bag of her food to get to the food one day. Guess I didn't feed her enough that day.  The food is now in plastic containers.
