Love the picture of Josie. Glad to see you have a new member of the family.

We have a Gulfstream motorhome and are having plenty of issues. We are currently fixing the back wall of the motorhome which is pulling away from the frame. The 1st year we owned it we had to take it back to the factory to be worked on and then they informed us some of it was not under warranty. We were Fleetwood dealers for over 20 years, Starcraft before that and never had the factorys fight us on warranty issues. Took us over a year of constantly calling Gulfstream to get a wiring diagram of the mh. The a/c blew hot air instead of cold and they told us nothing was wrong. DH finally fixed the issue. Our motorhome is 5 years old and we bought it as we were getting out of the RV business because I liked the floor plan and we needed a heavy duty mh. (Super C) for pulling a trailer full of 4 wheelers. Trying to talk to the service dept is next to impossible. From our experience I would definitely look elsewhere. Every manufacturer will have pros and cons, so I would also consider the RV dealer that you buy from and what type of service dept. they have since they will be the one that has to go to bat for you with the manufacturer if any issues come up.

So sorry for your loss.

Definitely option 3, all 12 nights at the Fort!

Great pictures and thanks for sharing with us at home!

Love the premium sites. Usually stay in 1400 loop. Close to pool and fishing.

So sorry for your loss.

We usually stay in the 1400 loop and love it. Our granddaughter is always with us and she loves the easy access to the pool and game room. Choose the Big Bear loop which is on the outside and most sites are easy to get into.

This made me laugh. :rofl2: My brother got totally wasted on this last weekend at a party. He didn't realize what was in it, only that it was really good and managed to stumble back to the motorhome. Glad I only had a glass!

So sorry about Sasha. It's hard to lose a part of the family. :bighug:

I have been looking at this for Christmas this year. We are trying to decide whether to use the meal plan for priority seating. My hubby will be on a scooter and didn't know if that would make a difference since sometimes they put you in the back anyway.

Omg I would give anything for that fridge and pantry! Never have enough room. Congratulations!

Will definitely be heading there in December. Don't care about the presentation, just want the toast. I tried making it at home and didn't taste nearly as good.
-
Ok where is Capn Cooks. We always go to Konas for tonga toast. Didn't know they had it anywhere else.
-
Thanks. I was hoping there was an online site, but looks like I will be waiting till December.

Is there a way to tell how many days are left on magic your way tickets? We bought 10 day tickets a few years back and didn't do a very good job of keeping track of the days. They have no expiration, water parks and more on them.

Went once in July never again. Way too hot!. We would take our son out in high school for about 8 days and we had always taken the granddaughter out of school in late January early February, love that time in Florida. Now that she's in Junior high it's harder with sports and homework.

France has show?
Two hours, were you blind folded or something? Can we say exit signs?
Ahh, a WDW newbie.
If it's roller coasters she wants, Universal is much better.
Wait a minute, you're going to abandon hubby on NYE? He must love that scooter.
There are ways to do things, we'll talk.
He actually hates the scooter, but with MS his walking ability is limited. I like the scooter, makes a great place to store all the stuff I don't want to carry! But as you know when it's crowded it a challenge to get around people. I usually try to walk in front so if he's going to run into anybody it will be, but people still try to get in between us. In 20 plus years we have always stayed at the Fort except for when I had a meeting and the bank was paying. Then we stayed at the Boardwalk. It was nice, but we ended up going to the Fort to check things out. I guess you could say we're hooked on it.

Is there a Christmas 2012 thread out there yet?
There are a few posts out there.

Since we have been to disney about 20 plus times, we r just going to hit certain things. Granddaughter will be 13 so she wants roller coasters. We were planning on epcot for nye but might have to rethink that. Hubby will probably stay at the motorhome, with his scooter. It will probably be to hard to get around.

I expected the higher prices. The family is still trying to decide. We are also looking at places outside the parks. Hubby still thinks i'm nuts for booking xmas to new years, but hey you don't know unless you try it! I just hope it doesn't bite me in the butt and have to listen to him say i told you so!

Thanks for the info. If there a site where I can find out about the different cancelation fees? As much as i hate schedules, i may need one for this trip. We usually go early Feb and don't have to worry about reservations.
-
We're go with the flow kinda people, but I'm thinking I may need to make dining reservations for Christmas. Not sure how it works. If i make them and we don't show up do we have to pay a penalty? I was going to make some at different parks for days we think we will be there, but the weather usually decides what we do. We're not AP holders. We have park hopper tickets left over with about 4 days on them (no expiration date). DH loves Prime Time Cafe and I was looking at the dinner with candlelight procession option. Is there any place special for Christmas Day dinner? I usually have Christmas at my house for about 30 people and this will be my first year in 12 years not having to cook. Any suggestions would be helpful. If I don't find something I know I will end up trying to cook a full Christmas dinner for 5 people!

Awesome! Have a fantastic trip!
Ever heard of the Fort Wilderness Pioneer Club or Frontier Club?

We use to belong to the snowbirds club. You had to book for a minimum of 30 days. The rate was good for January 1st to Presidents day weekend. They would have a meeting in Feb every year to announce rates. There were only so many openings and if u didn't use it 1 year you were dropped. The last year it was available we paid 28.00 per nite. I would love to see those rates again.
