  1. Plymouth-Canton area. You? Now the 500 Loop...that's not one of those "water main break" loops during Christmas is it??? And, is it doable to walk to the Settlement from there?
  2. WOW!!! Why didn't I join in on the fun sooner?!! This is exactly what I was looking for! And, yes, we strolled along the river, past 1600 and 1500 Loops (turning left to follow the water), crossed the street and over the bridge! Really? It wasn't as long as it appears on maps. Maybe a 5-10 minute stroll. (kids=5 minutes...adults=10) Along the water, it was VERY pretty...made the trek worthwhile. Certainly not your 600 Loop convenience, but the sites were nice.
  3. Thanks for the insight. If night temps are like last Christmas, we'll be the only fools in da pool again. We, Michiganders, did hot tub runs in 20degree temps last Christmas. Countdown to book is only 16 days...only 499 more after that, and I'm there! (Darn daughter had to go and graduate this year, so finances are a bit down to do our annual Christmas voyage this season ) Patiently waiting to meet the Brewmaster...
  5. OK, I'm a lonnnngg time lurker here, and I've decided it's time to stop creepin' and start being a team player. We have stayed twice in the 600 loop (Sunny Sage Way) and really liked being close to the Trading Post, campfire sing-along, pool, fishin', and the bus stop. The only (tiny) pitfall is the traffic along the side closest to the road. Last Christmas, we stayed in the 1800 Loop (Conestoga Trail) and REALLY like the privacy and seclusion of the site/loop. We also found a nice way to get to the footbridge to the pool area...just a nice stroll along the river, and "just around the rive
