  1. "Suiting up" and strolling around the campground. (Of course, lightening changes that choice!)
  2. This last trip for me was all about resort hopping and visiting my DD. We enjoyed a Kona lunch one day and breakfast on another. (Love the food and press pot java there) A new treat we enjoyed was the banana-chocolate Creme brûlée. Oooooo, it went soooo well with my java...
  3. We have never stayed at POR or POFQ, but really enjoyed the boat ride from DTD to them. Easy, relaxing, convenient.
  4. Anyone going today, look for a CM named Danielle. She took a shift at Wandering Oaken's TP today. She says she's up for the challenge of little girls and their love of Elsa. If you do see her, snap a photo for mom. :) It's amazing that this imagineered display all came together in under three weeks!
  5. Thanks for sharing. With creative financial planning, the HappyCamper crew hopes to be there again this Christmas. (Yeah, that would make a total of 5 trips in one year for yours truly...a record that still has me in the dog house with Mr. HappyCamper.). Every Christmas we have gone, we have done our traditional Biergarten/CP, but this looks like a great alternative. Yummy photos...
  6. Dear Dan, We will be celebrating our 25th next year. I respectfully request you contact my DH to begin the Anniversary Trip & Vow Renewal training program you will be offering to FFs. Sincerely, Happy Camper.
  7. I love the restore so far. Funny, my DH and I just laid that same flooring in our basement. We love how easy it is to install. (Scary fast too). Can't wait to hear/see more... :)
  8. This is what I get for being away from FF for a while. ): Bus driver or not, we're still meeting! Although, you've been referred to as Lou the bus driver in my house for so long. Maybe, Lou the Warm and Fuzzy guy will need to take its place...
  9. I'm sure this question has been asked, but I'm being lazy... I'm looking at getting a tent site July 10-15 for myself. I'm not doing it for the pleasure of tenting in FL in July. I'm doing it to go as cheap as possible and save on hotel and rental car fees. I've got another trip at the end of July to make to pick my DD up from DCP. (Traveling from MI is $$$$$!) How early do busses from FW run to go to DTD? (I have an 8am workshop to attend at the Hilton on the 12 and 13th) Do they run that early? PS- Lou, this means we'll have two opportunities to meet. :) TCD, I'll remember to menti
  10. We were at Poly for breakfast earlier. The walls really close things off. They also looked pretty darn permanent (with electrical outlets, light fixtures). Sad. I eavesdropped as a CM was talking about replacing the skylights too. (Boo!) Here's hoping extra pixie dust goes into the imagineering of this rehab... (Oh, hey! Fancy that...I met a fiend at the fort too!)
  11. Your DD can easily pick up open shifts too. My DD loves hopping around to new places...Who can say they play with a light saber at work? Ok, TCD, when will you be getting to the part where you meet a spectacular couple from Michigan???
  12. Funny you should mention the wine and dine. If we could afford this year's, we'd be there. Doing the Detroit 1/2 instead.
  13. Ed! You are a true inspiration!!! I ran the 10K this year and saw a hand cyclist zip in before my wave began. (I was in the last wave, but hey, I was IN the race, right?) Can't wait to hear more. And, yes, magical is right. We went to the Biergarten on Sunday to celebrate a birthday and were in awe over the people running the full marathon. My sis and I have agrees to make that our next Disney run. (In a couple of years). Heck, maybe take your lead and go Dopey!! Go, Ed, go...
  14. Since I wandered away from FF for a bit, I'm behind in threads. Managed to scan through this doggie naming thread quickly so as to catch up on the news of a new fiend. Dobby is adorable! And his middle name is... ??
