  1. Yeah...are there bathroom and store sweeps? Does transportation get a call saying to call it quits? What happens if someone is missed?
  2. I must say, Mo, your digging up of information is impressive. (and you didn't threaten to egg me when we meet...LOU!!) I love stuff like this! Twisted, useless tid bit info. :yay:
  3. :yay: ...um, 'cuse me, Mo? Any wisdom to add to the questions that I'm (really) pondering over? ....
  4. Carol, Let's pretend you had a 32ft TT and a 2-room (large) tent too. Let's also pretend you are camping with a total of ten people on a site...with two boys who live and breathe fishin'...and two campers who love morning coffee rockin' on the porch by the store... Which location for comfort convenience too?
  5. ....REMEMBER...I teach and am surrounded by adolescents ALL DAY (and at home) too... So, yeah, these are my questions...really... :)
  6. Honest Lou, these were from my own little head....really...no kiddin'... Remember, I'm trying my best to escape from thinking about surgery this weekend, so I'm letting my mind wander as FAR as it wants to go. :) Ok, the warm and fuzzy question WAS a little pinch of cuteness towards you. (I'll have my fryin' pan ready for the eggs)
  7. (deep breath in) How many fingers are on the inside of Mickey's glove? Are all clocks at all parks run on electricity? If so, how do they get reset when there is a power outage? Or does the emergency power kick on and keep 'em going? Does someone have to physically change the times...or is it done elsewhere? How many clocks are there? I know at AKL, plants are "recycled" to feed the animals, what happens to the decorative plants after being removed? Do any get salvaged? Are there official names for colors used when painting things at WDW? Like the auto companies do...create unique color
  8. I am thrilled to see you do this! I TOLD my DH we should do the same and he laughed at me... Please make sure you fill us in on how things go. I want to use your trip as an example and an "I told you so". :)
  9. Heck, drop the cord, Goofy, go green and go solar-powered...
  10. ...save seeds from an orange from a tree near our site...took them home, planted and cared for them (In MICHIGAN!) for over a year. Now, the little saplings wait patiently to return to the fort with us this Christmas.... ...oh yeah, AND...the fort inspired my DH to bring home an anole found in a crate that was shipped to his work in January (to, yup, MICHIGAN!)...enjoying her new tank, warming light, and food, our little "Belle" patiently counts down the days until she gets to enjoy retirement years at the fort...
  11. Yes. I bought a blue shirt and dyed with a darker blue. SUPER easy...shhhhhhh
  12. Okey dokey, I'm all caught up. :yay: Your pictures are wonderful! I love the shots of WS, particularly the topiaries. Why the dislike for Snow White, Dave? Is there some horrible event in your past to cause such a nasty reaction to this sweet, young girl who is kind to the animals? This is twice now I've heard about 50's Prime Time. I'm taking it as a sign to go there next trip. Your desserts look yummy... Waiting patiently for the next update....
  13. Mo may have an amount from her recipe, but I just bought Spice Island's curry powder. (it was the only one the store had). I added about a tablespoon to the crock while it cooked and a few more "shakes" to taste as it cooked.
  14. Ok, I may have seen this in the camping recipes section (not sure), but here's a really easy way to make lasagna...crock pot style! 1. Pour enough spaghetti sauce to cover the bottom of the crock. 2. Break and lay raw lasagna noodles to fit in rows on top. 3. Mix ricotta, mozzarella, italian spices in bowl and spoon a thin layer on top. (I'm thinking for whole cheese amount, mix 1 cup each...really, whatever you usually use is fine) 4. Pour another layer of sauce. 5. Top with a spinach layer, if you want, here....or a layer of browned sausage or beef...or both! 6. Break and layer noodles
  15. Great TR! I love the atmosphere at Raglan Road. So much fun. Last time I was there, I left with sore hands from clapping so much. Your daughter is adorable.
  16. I hope Mo copies and pastes the curry chicken one here! Yumm! I'm glad you started a separate thread for slow cooker recipes. It's the only way I'm cookin lately.
  17. YahoooooOO!!!!! It's an official non-TR TR from the not-warm & fuzzy really warm & fuzzy bus driving fiend of ours.... What a magnificent room, Lou! I am impressed. Any more photos to share?
  18. Thanks for sharing all the good stuff. I've avoided this place because the reviews I usually see are not the best as far as meals. But, PLEASE...a chance to get my Tween doing chores while I snap photos....This is a no-brainer! Looks like I've gotta add this one to our list for December.... :yay:
