  1. These are actually the ones I made with fabric spray. Same idea though. (I added color...bleach will take away) The T-shirt was solid blue. I added "forrest" colors over the stencils to create a resist pattern of Mickies. Same idea with the other things I posted.
  2. Took me a while. (I had these posted on another forum and couldn't find them in photobucket) This is a bag and shirt I made with the freezer paper/cricut set up. Easy! Just be sure to prewash the fabric, iron the freezer paper well, and face spray directly over stencils or it may bleed. This was an old shopping bag I had laying around... Side #1 Side #2 Here is a T-shirt I made. (eh-hem...that USED to fit me) And here is a picture of my youngest (age 10 in photo) making his own Goofy drawstring bag for our trip Goofy Drawstring...in use :)
  3. Yes, freezer paper. Super easy! I'll get photos soon.
  4. It's VERY important to see that both the brats AND grill master are well-infused with the beer. :rofl2:
  5. Though I have avoided Pinterest like the plague, I have made several really cool Disney items with bleaching and spray dyes. If you own a cricut, get freezer paper and cut out your shapes...iron them on and spray away. Super easy! (I'll post my projects when I return from shopping) Pinterest...is it as addicting as I have heard?
  6. Great photos! WOW, the cabins HAVE come a long way. I love the glimpse of the 'modern' television in the kitchen area. :welcrowd:
  7. So, will the undercarriage glow a soft red, blue or green? Spinners on the wheels? Massage seats for tired passengers....or the bus driver?
  8. As long as you are staying on property, the Magical Express can be pretty flexible. Just give them a call and explain your situation. They will help you out. Here's what they did for us, the last trip... My sister and BIL joined us last Christmas at the Fort. They flew in to FL to visit with his family first, then rented a car and drove it to the airport to drop off the rental. They then picked up the Magical Express to take it to the Fort. (Just needed to share their info about staying at the Fort) The bus arrived at the front of the Fort (Outpost) where we campers were waiting to welco
  9. Welcome, djbogue! :10220: Are you from the midwest? Or from Ontario, like BR6013?
  10. Joshua, :yay: Glad to hear you ventured into the posting portion of FF. You won't regret this move, although be prepared for unrelenting gags, giggles, and get-away advice from this group. They're quite a handful but, oh, so lovable... As for advice, I'll leave that up to the experts. Just be sure and drag your stepson off to Epcot for a bier. Rent a scooter for the day, and let 'em travel the world!!! (Someone here will probably have a way to save $$ on that rental too) Welcome! :doublebeer:
  11. We live in Michigan. This year's Freezer Jam was hosted by another corps from the St. Louis area. My DD traveled with her Corps for a whilrwind weekend to attend this year. (over 10 hours away) She did return with WONDERFUL pictures of St. Louis and the surrounding area.
  12. (Sorry) Tiny, tiny hijack for a moment, since you are a music fan... (and I'm a proud mama) ;D Here's a quick youtube video of my DD and her Fifin' n Drummin' pals at "Freezer Jam" last week... (Keep in mind, these kids range from 12-18 in age) My daughter is the fifer on the far right. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hp9Bh2-u-Hs
  13. I love Living with the Land! It is an absolute MUST for us. I can almost smell the ride looking at the photos. Ahhhhhhhh!!! Deciding between a Grand Marnier Slush or Grey Goose Citron Slush is always a tough decision for me. Alladin creeped my DD out when she was little. I think it was a combination of his sweeping poof of hair and funny shoes that kept her at a distance. I'm a big fan of spicy hot stuff...but in a drink? Not so sure.... I'm ready for more TR posts 'n pics! :suspense:
  14. ...and I'm sure you'll be able to name the scene.... :yaysmilesa-smiley:
  15. Go with MK..... Hint: If I widen the shot just a little, there is a definate give away to the right. Does that hint help? :dogsnicker:
  16. ...SORRY!.... DHS - Wrong park. AK - Wrong park. Want a hint?
  17. I am just :heart:ing this TR! Great photos. (and descriptive details of Hector and crew) A few comments... 1. Practicing handbells? Why not? My DD brings her fife everywhere.... My DS12 uses the top bunk to store his bell kit and violin when we camp... and, of course, no trip is complete without sticks... (Of course, if sticks are forgotten, it's too easy to pound...ON EVERYTHING!!!!) :faceplant2: 2. The shot of the girls after the "longest day ever" is a classic one. From your photos, it was a fun-filled day! 3. It's great to hear that Disney is breaking ground for the ac
  18. Educator's discount??? Hmmmm. Both my sister and I are teachers. :yay:
  19. I agree, tea wins for me too. Your girls are really photogenic. Looking forward to more...
  20. "Common' Ma, things things look ridiculous on me! What will the neighborhood hounds think?" A present....for ME? Oscar Kitty needs love too! And, then, there's Mathilda...
