  3. when we went looping last night there was one camper in the 700 loop. I will look again when we return to the fort. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Isn't part of the beauty of camping is to enjoy the wilderness? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Any idea why part of the 1300 loop is closed?
  6. Youtube offers drive thru videos of the different loops. I think I just google Ft Wilderness loops and it brought up several videos. This might help in your decision.
  7. To make sure it fits of course. What he said.
  8. Great thanks. Hopefully we will get in there Sunday.
  9. This is on my list of things to try next week.
  10. We keep ours in our yard. the hubby makes sure the tires are covered and we park on wood boards. He also maintains it by washing and waxing twice a year and maintains the roof twice a year as well.
  11. When we were there May 10 for the son's graduation weekend we went to DTD via Disney transportation. From the time we boarded the bus until we were dropped off at the Contemporary it was 45 minutes. This was our first trip to DTD in a few years so needless to say we were shocked it took so long.
  12. We have never tent camped at the fort so I can't offer much in the way of suggestions but I did want to say Hello and Welcome.
  13. Is there any idea of how long it is going to be closed? We have requested this loop when we arrive June 15.
  14. That was one of the things that the DH insisted on. :) I honestly did not realize what he went through leveling manually. Thanks everyone for the congrats. We are excited and really excited to make our maiden voyage in it to Fort Wilderness.
  15. If it is just overnight any of those parks would be ok. We have stayed at Jellystone and it would be a nice overnight place. The In and Out is okay as well for an overnight stay. There are a lot of restaurants with in walking distance. Olive Garden is next door to it and Longhorn steak house. Wal-Mart and Lowe's are less than a mile from it too. Good luck where ever you decide to stay.
