  1. Some people still eat stuff cooked in peanut oil. I don't get it. I have a friend who's kid has food allergies and she lets them eat stuff that is labeled with "may contain". We don't do any may contains, same facility, etc.

My kids can still eat peanut oil, even with the allergies.  The proteins in the oil get denatured and change somehow chemically and they don't have a problem.  But I still use canola when I fry.

Bill, if your daughter wants something to decorate I would look on the baking aisle with the cake decorating stuff. I think it's Betty Crocker makes pens that she could use to color on the marshmallows with. I'm not %100 on the ingredients but its probably just chemicals :) probably way tastier than dye.

Sounds good, but she came up with the idea and wants to dip the marshmallows like eggs.  She usually helps with the eggs, but she wears gloves so she doesn't touch the eggs.

  2. Jason, if you want to bring candy, dum dums are pn/tn/egg/dairy free and so are smarties, mike and Ike's, Swedish fish, and sour patch kids.

Not saying you have to bring candy, just in case you wanted some options (bill correct me if I'm wrong on them).

Have you ever made anything with peanut butter or nuts in your waffle maker?

Bill, what kind of oil do you use for your fryer?

I've been using a canola oil. My daughter and and boys are also allergic to nuts.

  3. Rennie,

We ended up getting a 33ft Jayco bunk house last June. Spent the entire summer at Sea Pines/Circle M and depending on my shoulder, probably gonna do the same this year. We're gonna have to dewinterize when we get there Thursday... Hopefully one of y'all can point Matt in the right direction of what he needs to do... we got ripped off by having Stones winterize it, I refuse to pay them to dewinterize it...

Cant wait.... 1 week from tomorrow and its camping time again!!!! And even better cause we're starting the season off with Fiends :jumpforjoy

the weather channel app is saying upper 40's and cloudy for thurs/fri... hope this storm on Monday doesn't mess with too much, though out of the past few we've only gotten rain while PA got snow...

Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust that all will be good!!!!!

Same here, I will be dewinterizing when we get there. Real easy to do, just bring a small bottle of bleach and I will show him. We should be there by 4 or 5.

Last I saw of Ocean City, the week after Sandy, the board walk was in the ocean. Has it been rebuilt yet?

I think there has been more hijack that actual topic talk lol.

So getting back on topic, Brian is up for a weekend in NE. I thought he would want to see how Gettysburg was but he said yes already!!

Boy will he be sorry. After Gettysburg he may reconsider.

Don't worry Mo. I have no life. I'll run with this.

One thing I have learned from dealing with organizations is just keep your head down and don't volunteer for anything. When the get you once, it just gets heeped on.
