Thanks Dave for hosting the gathering. Sheila and I had a wonderful time. It was great meeting new fiends and seeing some regulars The green death wasn't that bad. I hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year!!!

I will add that Sheila and I had a great trip. We always enjoy getting together with the fiends. I always love getting together and laughing, eating and telling stories. Sheila's dad had a great time. I think he misses all the food and Missy's breakfast. Because everyone made him feel so welcome, it is living proof that fort fiends are the most friendly and down to earth people ever. We are happy to be part of such a great group. Looking forward to the next gathering..

What an awesome trip report. Thanks to all for the pictures. We didn't take any.. Don't know why.. We are still talking about how wonderful everyone is and how awesome all the food was. Looking forward to the next time..

We made it home safe and sound yesterday about 5:30. Sheraugh and I had an awesome time. We met so many wonderful people over the weekend. While driving home Sheraugh asked me : How many people do you know that travel to a place to have fun with people that they don't know? I said I know of 2. I am so happy we are part of the Fort Fiends!!! There are so many wonderful people in the group. We felt so comfortable around everyone. The redneck glass we recieved from Holly is awesome.. Thank You... I really like the open invitation everyone gave to their campsite. The thought of just showing up and having food offered to you.. I enjoy the giving spirit everyone has. After spending time with everyone over the weekend I am convinced the fiends are not just friends, they are family. This was our first GG, I look forward to many, many more.
