I love the picture of the rose! It's amazing how "un-disney" the construction area looks at this point. It does look like the new area is gonna be nice though! I'm with those who would have only ended up with a picture of the wall! :)

We were just there for a short trip in January. We stayed in a cabin and were in the 2600 loop towards the back, it was fine without a golf cart. We did think it would have made transportation times shorter if we had a gc, but we rode the internal bus everywhere we needed to go. Maybe you could rent one from disney for a couple days if you are just gonna hang around the fort?

Sounds great! My plan at this point is...hmmm, no plan yet! :hugsmiley: :hug: Really, I plan on hanging out at the Fort as much as possible. I have an appointment on Tuesday with a doctor in Orlando, that's the only thing I have planned so far. Oh yeah, we'll be eating steak!

I downloaded your spreadsheet. I am totally unorganized person in real life, but Disney brings out my inner planner. I have color coded spread sheets and index card organizers.  :dropjaw: What can I say? Some kind of weird disorder, I guess!

We use the Disney Visa to earn Disney dollars towards each trip. You get $1 Disney dollar for each $100 dollars put on the card.  It takes some extra work keeping track and making sure you pay the balance in full each month (You MUST pay off the monthly charges in FULL each month or else the interest will certainly cost more than the dollars earned), but we are able to put our real estate taxes (which is the ONLY time I am glad that Jersey has high taxes LOL), car insurance, cable bill, cell phone bill, gasoline, and everything else we can on the card. We pay it off before it is due, hence no interest charges.  Last year we paid off the full 9 nite stay for November, and since then have already earned  $250 towards our next trip!

I never thought about paying bills with the card, I just didn't think I would spend enough to make it worth it. Might have to reconsider! :dance:

I've heard of those cabins..the VIP cabins! That would be neat to get one of those. I have heard that some regular people have actually gotten them.

We actually are talking about the possibility of renting a camper for a short trip in March. My brother was showing my Mama pictures and talking about trying out camping at Fort Wilderness. What did Mama say? "Will the Mousekeepers clean the camper for us too?" Gotta love that spoiled little woman! >:D :rofl2:

My next trip, I am gonna be taking pictures of everything in the cabin! We want to make FortFiends.net the most informative place about Fort Wilderness Cabins around!!
