  1. Tent campers! Woohooo! Speaking of, I'm regretting the decision to waterproof the new tent once I get there Wednesday. I just don't have space here....
  2. Whipperwhirl, I guess I don't know what a www is. If I did and was good at it, I'd be inviting everyone over in my Prevost instead of my tent.
  3. Haha. Because of that, I'm going into the office today just to fax my request for the 1500 loop. After reading your stories over on the other board and all of the craziness last time near the end of the trip, I'm going to do my best to avoid the 2000 loop.
  4. I stand corrected! It's funny, I'm members of several private facebook groups of people that also split from the other site for similar reasons. Several of the boards there have all but died. The fb groups, and here, have WAY more activity.
  5. Day 1 Sunday, November 14 The plan was to be awake around 6am, out the door at 7. I loaded the car the night before. I was a little wary about traveling alone, but I was pretty glad I was once the car was loaded. There wasn't even room for someone else's unmentionables - much less the person themselves! What really happened. Woke up around 7 and was out the door about 8:30. I knew I had to stop by the office and fill the cooler before I left town. I was a little nervous about timing since I feared setting up camp in the dark. I made excellent time and pulled into the Fort around 3:30 pm where
  6. I've been doing this intertubes thing for a long time, and I have to tell you... 150 registered users in a few weeks for something that has had almost no advertising and is in direct competition with something so large... well... that's fantastic! Job well done to everyone!
  7. Hope I'm allowed to crash the new board! I went out of town for a few weeks for business and when I got back and settled saw what happened over at the other place.... which quite honestly I wasn't surprised based on the 'tude I'd gotten from certain people that work for that company. Glad you all found a place to be real fiends. Since I do the www's for a living, I'll gladly offer my assistance if it's needed to help in anyway possible.
  8. FWIW, I don't even trust the stakes that came with mine. I used some pretty tough nylon rope and some heavy duty stakes. It may have looked a little ridiculous with the rope all over the place, but I think it's worth it for the peace of mind - knowing that after one-too-many cantaloupes (or similar) in Epcot I wasn't going to have to go searching for the canopy.
