I learned how to do baked potatoes in the crock pot last year, we top them will pulled pork, cheese, ranch dressing and what ever else we have a hankering for :)
4 baking potatoes
1 tablespoon EVO
kosher
4 sheets aluminum foil
Wrap, cook for about 6 hours for a medium size potato, top with the fixin's enjoy!
I set mine on low, I have never tried to do it on high but I assume it would work :)
This sounds great! Do you set the slow-cooker on low or high? Thanks for the tip! :wiz:

Hello my fellow fiends! I have been googling around today trying to figure out exactly how the gift cards work, are they rechargeable either via phone or online? I ran into a few different websites that were somewhat conflicting. I tried to call the 800 number but was on hold FOREVER!
If anyone has used these I'd love to hear your thoughts, also, does anyone know where you can get disney dollars?

Taking the house critters for the first trip of the year April 15 to the 18th, how far of a drive is it to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg?

Check out this contraption, we have a coleman 19 x 12 cabin style, It's huge but by the time we put in air mattresses for everyone we didnt have alot of room left, I'm looking for ways to free up some space.. has anyone ever used the double bunk cots instead of air mattresses?

I know they allow tent camping at Stone Mountain, another Huntsville Fiend (TentCampingMom) and her family tent camp there quite often.
From what I'm gathering, you can't reserve those ahead of time.. I dont think I have "seen" her here.. I'll have to track her down

YA know, I was looking at this thinking to myself... "self, you live close enough, this would be a great chance to meet some fiends.." however, I can't find any info on tent camping, I've tried calling, emailing, sending up smoke signals... I get nothing.
HONEY, I know you said I had to wait one more year for a camper, but this kind of stuff drives me crazy!!!!

I dont remember which one of the brilliant fiends told me this last year, but they recommended placing a crate over the pot when left unattended. I did this last year with no issues, the critters at the fort really are rather intuitive little guys...
I will admit the crates fooled me at first, but I have figured this trick out.
 :rofl2:Silly Fiend!

Do you think this only works if you keep them in a single layer? My DS eats 3 or 4 potatoes alone, so I need to make more than this, but would love to do it in the slow cooker.
I usually throw 6 in at a time depending upon the size of the tater, and no I dont think stacking them affects the cooking process, I usually just toss them in there

NY strip, well done, just short of beef jerky status!
Nailed it!! My husband likes it still moving.. we are a house divided.

My husband and i have spoken many times oof the lure of just traveling around in a RV, showing the kids this wonderful country of our up close and personal. Unfortunately, we have never figured out how to support our family while doing so. But I keep trying to think of something! :)
Well if you figure it out please share the info!! Hubby and I figure after the kids leave home, we will sell everything and be "THOSE" people

I am also a stroller junkie. My dh hates it.
I live my City Mini. It's light weight and easy to fold and push. My ds is also 3 1/2 and 35lbs. I've had a Maclaren as well and that's also a great stroller.
I'm hoping the City mini (double) rocks as much as the reviews say it does, I just ordered that one for my October trip with a 1 and 3 year old.. if it can live through my bunch.. it deserves to be crowned "stroller supreme"!
FINALLY!!! Can't believe it took this long to find this link
