Um.... dude, that's the marine radar. I certainly hope you were wearing your lead lined tighty whiteys! If you stand there long enough you can soak up some serious microwave radiation. On your next cruise, bring your brats and hotdogs up and you can hold them up and cook them in front of it.

Even more interesting is that they made a seating area directly below the weather radar. Doppler is pretty much directional (up and out), but some of it scatters. I bet that little overhang has some lead in it just in case...

Nothing worse than ticks!!

We got a signal with our DirecTV when we were on 329. It was all pixie dust though. The spot we needed to aim happened to be between two trees.

We could have used some of those last year... some of the folks near us in line were pretty ripe. We could have handed them out as gifts, or maybe hung them on their ears...
