  1. Not enough free time to do all those, but for the next FHF fund raiser sometime in early 2013, I will be asking certain Fiends to donate their time to do some of those and other activities with the highest bidder.

None of them know this yet, so keep it a secret.

Fishing session off the dock with a certain Fiend.

A covert mission with a certain Fiend.

A behind the scenes session into what it takes to keep FF.Net running with a certain super geek.

An interview with another super Fiend as to what makes them tick. A short article will be required to be written for this one.

A highly discounted lunch with a certain Fiend at the Sanaa restaurant.

A Fort scavenger hunt with nice Disney related prizes going to the winner.

These and other activities hopefully will be up for bid.

Feel free to submit any other ideas.

Somehow it's just not the same.. I'm glad I was able to bid for the real deal this year! ;o)

  2. According to the research I've done, they can be house trained and the cleanliness issues, although different, are no worse than a dogs.

I would love to have one on the bus. In fact I would love to own one.

Must be tough on the hardwood floors though.

I may just have to buy me a horsey! Could you imagine the looks you would get when you were out 'walking' your horse?? LOL!

It makes me happy when you're on here.

It makes me happy too! That means that I have free time (a rare commodity these days)... or that I am at work and really don't want to get things done, but that's a secret...

Ok, I'm busted. I admit it. I love the women of FF.Net and Lisa is surely on that list.

There are so many. Some that I haven't even met yet.

Their sense of humor, their spunk, their energy, gutta love them all.

I thought I was your one and only... now you've hurt my feelings! You're going to have to sing loud and proud at IASW and COP to get back on my good side. ;)

  3. This trip I am bringing my sevice chimpanzee to the Fort. He has been trained to throw his shit at anyone who tries to throw him off a Disney bus.

    :rofl2:

Back to the horse thing though. Aren't there some obvious cleanliness issues here? Dogs can be potty trained. I have never heard of a potty trained horse. What happens when winnie goes poo? I would NOT want to be on that bus!

  4. If I were to be camping at the fort, my sign would be displayed 24 hours a day, perhaps illuminated tastefully at night, but not as an invitation. For me it is a recognition that I am part of a fine group of like-minded folks who enjoy camping and the fort, and an encouragement for those who have yet to join this esteemed bunch to check out the website and add their names to its hallowed rolls. I'd hate to think that I should only put my sign out if I am entertaining visitors.

However, I feel it is a "camping thing" that in reasonable hours folks can call always call on you if you are outside your tent/have your door open.

I'll "howdy" you, you'll "howdy" back.

The host can keep it as simple as that; offer coffee, cold drinks, or spirituous liquors as appropriate; ask if they'd join them for a meal; or invite them to come back at a more convenient time.

Waking me up or entering a camp without invitation are about the only visitor faux pas I can think of.

I feel like I've been schooled by miss manners. ;)

  5. What I don't understand is why someone would take the time to say "I'm a fiend" by putting out a sign and then be upset when someone wanted to visit with them. That's the point, isn't it? ;)

Stop by and visit us anytime. Just beware... we sometimes like to move our sign around to other sites in the loop. Fiends are like a box of chocolates... you never know what you're gonna get! :rofl2:
