We’ll be there in October, but hopefully someone will be able to check it out before then.

Well I got some unfortunate news today. We are big fans of the Kennesaw State football team. They put out their fall schedule and our biggest game of the year (teams existence) is that Saturday.
Our youngest daughter graduated from KSU back in 2011. She loved it there!!!

Toby and I might be able to join you. If we don't end up camping, I'll at least stop by for a visit. We're only about 20 minutes away.
-
Looks like you all had a great time!

Been slogging my way through clients and was going to come post all that myself. Thanks for sharing it.
I'm booking with you next time, Jason! It doesn't appear that my TA was even aware of the discount! Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

My notification popped up on my watch from My Disney Experience (in Georgia at the time), but then I couldn't find it when I logged in on my phone. I really wish they would make this available to people that aren't down there. My daughter and her family are there, but none of them have an AP.

Wonder if LEGO is exempt, they don’t specifically say, but have a sentence Saying select specialty toys are exempt
I received an alert through my My Disney Experience account, but never could find anything else. I hate that it is only available if you are actually down there. Doesn't help me at all since I won't be there until October.

Yup! 🙂
Looks like we can only use it while down at WDW or am I reading it wrong? I've been wanting a good discount for something that I have my eye on, but when I got the alert about the sale, it looked like it could only be used in person. Please tell me we can use it online!!!

According to a fellow TA friend who is local to the Fort the Premium Meadows loop numbers are 600, 800, 900, 1000, and 1400
She isn’t on here but thanks Nancy
Also, the 700 loop is included in this. So now I have to pay extra for my favorite loop...800.

Ugh! Looks like the new Reflections DVC resort will have a major impact on Fort Wilderness, including relocating the Tri-Circle D Ranch! So disappointing!

Thanks for sharing! I was just able to get reservations for our trip next month and I'm even more excited about it now after seeing your pictures! Happy Anniversary!

Oh no, we never had trouble getting a campsite on points in the past, but it sounds like those days are gone. Chances of getting two campsites makes this even less of a possibility. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to pay for a site instead. Thanks for the information!

Many years ago, when we first bought our camper, we were able to use DVC points for campsites at Fort Wilderness. Back then, they didn't charge the $95 transfer fee when you booked. Do any of you know if this is still the case? My youngest daughter and her husband just bought a travel trailer (today!!!) and are thinking about going to Fort Wilderness for a few days around Labor Day. They want us to come too and bring our RV. Since we have extra DVC points this year, I was thinking of using points for both reservations. I'm just trying to figure out if we will have to pay the $95 per campsite fee or not. And we all know that not all CMs know the rules, so I don't want to get charged the fee if I'm not required to.

How bad was the morning noise on the deck above? I have read that chairs being dragged around could make it a little noisy.
It wasn't as bad as the other rooms next to it. We were in 10660 on an earlier cruise and it was more noticeable there. Our daughters were in the next two staterooms down on that sailing and they were really bothered by it. I don't think 10658 was as bad. You will feel a lot of vibration from the engines though. It didn't bother me too much until one night when the ship seemed to be going really, really fast...and then suddenly all of the engines stopped! I was a little freaked out thinking that we were having engine problems. I found out much later that it was actually a medical evacuation and that when the ship was going fast, they were trying to get in place for a medical ship to catch up with us just off the coast of Freeport. I think you'll really like 10658.

We watched a youtube video of 10658 and the TV is on the same wall as the bed but looks like it has an adjustable mount so you can move it to the side of the bed. We will see when we get there. Last time we took a cruise 10 years ago we were not in the cabin much other than the few hours it rained one afternoon.
Yes, you can definitely move it, but it really doesn't work well for two people trying to watch tv in bed. Not a big deal since I really don't watch much tv in bed. Other than that, we LOVED the stateroom. It's such an odd configuration and it really feels like you have more room than others nearby (we were in 10660 the cruise before this one). You'll love it!

We had 10658 on the Dream back in July! Great room! The only downfall is that the tv is on the same wall as the bed, so you can't really watch tv in bed if you want to (not a problem for me, but my husband didn't like it).

Disney Cruise Line is planning to develop 700 acres on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. Here's an article from the Orlando Sentinel that talks about it. https://www.orlandosentinel.com/travel/florida-cruise-guide/os-ae-disney-cruise-line-eleuthera-20181022-story.html . I hope it happens! As much as i love Castaway Cay, I would love another private island!

Holly's back! Holly's back! roll out the purple carpet, where you been girl? It"s been forever since we've seen you
LOL! Hi Bob! Yes, I'm back and happy to be here! We took the RV down to the Fort for the first time in forever two weeks ago and surprisingly all of the slides and levelers worked for the entire trip, we didn't have a flood inside, and we didn't leave the charger or the keys to the golf cart at home...and we all know that never happens! We had so much fun that now we are planning to camp at Stone Mountain Park (home to one of the very first Fort Fiend Grand Gatherings) in a few weeks. Looks like we are about to become campers again!

Hi Carol! It's great to be back on Fort Fiends! We were at the Fort two weeks ago (first time in years!), and now we can't wait to go back!
-
I would probably pay the price as long as it isn't too high. I love the convenience of having my own cart to get around.
-
I hate this idea! We won't get all of those special shots of the grandkids with the characters like we do now. I have a feeling it will cut down on sales of Memory Maker once people realize what they're getting.
-
That's weird. When I clicked on the link from my email notification, I got a picture of two old cameras. This is definitely not in the Journey To Imagination queue!
-
Journey to Imagination...I think. I know I've seen it before somewhere.

The very back part of Pecos Bills where it connects to Tortuga Tavern (or whatever it's called).

This popped up in my memories today. The first Fort Fiends Grand Gathering was 11 years ago at Stone Mountain!
