  1. We will be there next week and will be looking for the blue lights! Sounds intriguing!  If find anything out I will report back. Is the overflow lot full now? Does that mean Saturday we will be screwed?!?  We are going to be LOOOONG. We have a hard enough time getting through the lot and this time have a long trailer to drop :(    And like someone said earlier,If we park in the grass, we wont be getting back out.

  2. I am sorry if this has been posted somewhere, every time I search for "Car Rental"all I find are  cart rental posts. We will be there soon for two weeks and would like to rent a car or van for a couple days so we can show My Mother and Daughter the Ocean. Has anyone rented a vehicle while staying at the fort? If so, any suggestions or recommendations? Will anyone deliver and pick up a vehicle at the fort?

Thank you very much in advance.

  3. How about at the Fort?  How quickly does the Halloween Stuff come down and Christmas stuff up? We have our golf carts all decked out for fall and my husband loves those decorations and does not want me to change the golf carts to Christmas Decor. BUT we are bringing Christmas decorations for the camp site and Mom's cabin. 11/2-11/16 How weird will that look!

  4. Wow!  I wish hey would stop changing things. Can we vote Doug out or something? They have no idea how the little things mean so much.  Glad I saved all our folded up brochures from past trips. They keep it up and we might as well stay at an all star.

On a happier note, Just wait until you start having trips with.......GRANDKIDS!  You will get to start the whole process over! AND with kids you can give back when you need a break. How awesome will that be!  Just look at this slow time as a breather for when the chaos starts allover again. La Vida Es Buena.

  5. Sad this report is ending too...but excited for bonus content!  Do your daughters know they are practically famous!??

I hear everyone wishing they were at the Fort all the time, and our whole family feels the same way.We met a family who although a little nuts, practically live at the Fort and home school all 5 or 6 kids I lost track.  I am jealous. You know I bet if we all sold everything and pooled our money, we could all live at the Fort! Who's in?

  6. Oh, you can't offend me. I'm Sorry if my comment came off that way-totally was not intentional, and I totally get it on the coal ladies (like my new abbreviation? I bet no one has used "coal" <--- Center Of Attention Ladies)There are a couple coal's at my daughters school who think it is just wonderful to wear skinny jeans while there a$$ and belly are hanging out among other colorful outfits. At LUNCH no less.  I at least try to dress so I do  not embarrass my kid!

I think Wendy did not get the memo that Phineas and Ferb never visited Neverland!

I think I do have a secret fear of ending up on someones trip report though because this time when we go, we will be PRIME TARGETS!  Scooter, Stroller, baby harness, and I am sure I will get no sleep so I will probably look like a Venti raving lunatic between caring for my Mom and 11 mo old.

  7. Love it!  Thanks for the pictures, made my whole night.  I showed my husband the Rocking chair pictures and I am not sure but I think he is crying just a bit.

My first guess on the PA was for the Train.  We have one of the cars from the old train and I have my coffee in it in the mornings, it is our Rocking chair fix until we can get back.  If you ever come across video of the train in use I sure would appreciate a copy. To date I have only found one.

I agree AND disagree with you on FB. I use it as a tool, and instantly unfriend anyone who plays candycrush and sends me an invite.  Like anything, you have to figure out how to use it to your advantage and make it work for you.  I subscribe to my competitors page unbeknownst to them and see what they are up to so I can stay competitive, subscribe to customers so I can keep up with them and their needs, keep family updated with photos when I am too lazy to email which is always. When my daughter had a 104 temp and I was clueless if I should take her out at 10:00 pm to the er, I had real MOM answers from at least 23 mothers from my area in less time then it took me to get through to my daughters Doctor. Priceless.  I keep up with the neighborhood issues (break in's, parties, ect), See what my Stepdaughter is up to in college, and get 60 make ahead freezer recipe's in one post. I also got hooked up with brilliant people who helped me fix my old Mead LX200 12" whom I now keep in contact with and share amazing pictures. I got to chat/meet with an astronaut. I come across wonderful music I otherwise would not. The list goes on.  I admit when I first signed up and did not realize I invited every one of over 4000 business contact to be my friend on Facebook I almost deleted it, but I fixed that and now I get more from FB then it takes from me. Sorry you asked?

  8. The Ursula costume was good.

And there is a Chance the little girl picked out her costume and the parents followed suit.

I realize the role could have worked better reversed (and should have) but at least the Mom took her Ursula to MK and had the guts to dress up.  I am probably considered venti and because of that and my insecurities I have never dressed up for Halloween with my DD who would love that, and who does not care what I look like and loves me to pieces.

I need to get over that, even if I may appear on someones trip report online sometime in a not so flattering image. I admit The clam-shell shirt would have been a no go. I try to deflect attention rather then attract it to my imperfections. But kudos the her and her family for making it happen.

Btw- The mom in the blue nightgown? Wendy-Duh.

I do not know what the hell a moose knuckle is either. Do you make this stuff up?
