  1. how did I know to watch this thread???? hmmm???

Grumpy is correct, I drove my cart up and down the ramps ONCE and that was enough for me. I mounted the winch on the front of the cart to save room in the bed of the truck, I mounted a bar in the front of the bed to hook on and wa la it drives itself up the ramps.

You mounted a winch to pull it in the truck? I thought that was to get in from point a to point b.

  2. I read all the comments before responding and wondered when I would see you were getting a run around. I see things all the time on Craig's list like this. Example someone had a pop up toy hauler listed last week for $2k. These are $7k campers and they claimed it was mint. Unfortunately craigslist doesn't have a security system like eBay where you have to b4 legit by providing a credit card to get another account. There are scammers everywhere. I recently got an email recently someone was trying to hack my acct and I needed to log in on their secure site and change my pw via this page. Of course I did it. I entered the username goeffyourself and pw was goeffyourselfagain. My acct is still working lol. I've bought and sold a lot off of craigslist. If someone is serious about selling something they will have no probably talking via phone.

  3. Like ftwilderness guy said. Go to rv.net and look up larryjm and ask away. Tons of knowledge I tell ya. I wouldn't even think about fwg's advice over Larry's. A legend.

Seriously I'm with Jim on the 60 mph. I've had damaging blow outs. Put 16" tires on instead of the factory 15s which hold more weight and tire pressure. Go about 62 tops and no issues.

  4. I wonder if you get a check from Disney for something like that if it comes with a we no longer need your business letter? Does anyone remember the little punk who tried to take Tiggers head off a few years ago? The father was like what are you doing then when the cm pushed the kid off him the dad went into he hit you mode. One time I got startled because a firework went off. I guess I missed my chance at a lawsuit. People make me sick doing this crap. Not that they weren't already going to charge more but I'm sure frivolous lawsuits are taken into accountability during the hikes.

  5. I had a pop up for a short time and about 2 am this guy shows up in the 2000 loop with his lights coming in my camper and beating stakes in the ground. Mind you there was only like 6 sites taken in the whole loop and they put him next to me. It was one of those low 30s nights so when I awoke at sunrise to break down and head home I cranked up my diesel to warm her up for about 30 minutes while I'm folding the pop up in a slow manner. I looked over a couple times to see the guy looking out his tent like are you just going to leave that truck running? Why yes, yes I am going to. I even decided to drive through the loop one more time for good measure.

  6. thanks for the great news travisma lol. I love Disney as like I've said before. It's ashamed it's getting like this. I have a friend's daughter who just started working at the ABC commissary at the studios. She just got through going through traditions. So all that talk about being nice to people and helpful, what is all that for?

  7. I just read the first post from the start. So this is at least 3 current report i.e. daveintn and a starbuc Dave's reports are all similar. I don't stay as much anymore as my daughter is almost grown and other things in life going on. It's sad to hear these reports as Disney has been a huge part of our life and gave my daughter and me much enjoyment over the years. It's not the same for sure but they have definitely quit putting customers first. The price of a site definitely nauseates me. I realized the need for increases but like you said lack of good service sure doesn't warrant me wanting to give them my money. We scaled down to a seasonal pass this year except my daughter's which we kept as an annual for parking. I refuse to go in the summer to hear Brazilians chanting and being obnoxious. What's really surprising is the crowds. The site called slow season is no more. I doubt anything will change due to the amount of visitors they have

  8. Does anyone have or looked at the livin lite brand products? They are light weight and low maintenance from what I'm seeing. The only thing I see is they're rugged as far as looks with no faux pax paneling, cheapy linoleum and fake wood floors to rot. Not sure anyone would want to rent something like that either. The cabinets are metal too so not really much eye appeal but durable for sure. It would cut my weight almost in half for my conventional toy hauler.
