  1. You and I do the same thing I guess u could call us collectors

You have materials to make a quilt. I have enought patterns and fabric to make 1,000 or more counted cross stitch pictures, which I haven't done in years. At least I still don't buy supplies for that anymore. I owned a counted cross stitch store many, many years ago. I learned how to do it in Floirida and when I moved back to New York not many people knew what I was talking about, so I opened a store and went out at night to home extension groups and gave lessons. Of course the store cost me money because everything I brought I had to have one for me.

  2. We would be interested in Palo Brunch on the sea day. And if everyone else is interested considering Palo dinner. Not so sure about Remy's. The dinner there is probably an experience, but for $150 not sure if I want to do that. Also Rich is on a salt free, and other restrictive diet, will Palo work with that?

  3. Are we there yet??

Oh, and Lorna, Rick will take you to work....

But first he has to have breakfast at Trails End about 11am :-)

I will just have Bob or Rich call my boss and tell him either I'm sleeping in or having breakfast.  :o

  4. Yeah, we rarely make our bed at home, but for some reason, every morning I make the camper bed and everything has to be in it's place!!

(But then again every camping trip, I give 1/2 dozen tours)

I also do the same. Everything in the camper needs to have a place and be put away, (doesn't always happen when we have people, or Matt saying with us). But that is what I love about the MH vs Home.

  5. Does anyone know if they have any rules about setting up a small fence at your campsite for the dog?  We went to a couple of campsites last year that didn't allow them, but I love being able to just let our dog play inside the fence when we are sitting outside.  Now that cupcake isn't here, I can ask this without being told that I'm a bad pet owner.

You're a bad pet owner.  IMHO, JMO.  If you're gonna set up a fence make sure is meets all specifications and has the proper modifications. Do not attempt to do this without first consulting RV.net and seeking the expert advice of trained professionals.  That is all.

    :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:

For heaven's sake, make sure it is a diesel fence.    ;)

ILHO you are all trasy campers.  :popo:

  6. Yes, thanks that helps a lot.  I would be stuck there because DH is saving vacation time for a Fort trip later this summer, so he would have to take the family and set us up and then come pick us up the next weekend.  Sounds like a great weekend trip though, can't wait to try it sometime.  We just bought a canoe today, so looking forward to all the places we can use it at.  :rofl2:

So your DH got his canoe? That's great. Maybe we can do a Grand Gathering up there, I have been thinking about going there for a while.

  7. After kid #3, I think I forgot what scrapbooking was! LOL.  I have tons of supplies that I finally gave in and used for home school.

Maybe I should take up digital scrapbooking :raspberry:

Dana you should come over and do some with me, it would help me get going. I have all the tools (way to many) and a whole room set up for crafts. I have the cricut (which I love) a gypsy which works with it. I have a cuttlebug, lamanating machine and what ever else it needed. And supplies to do 100's of albums.

  8. i love my cricut.  my friends here in the northwoods and i do crops a couple times during the winter.  gets us out of the house and we have a great time.  a few of the girls at the crops walk down to one of the bars and bring their drinks back.  we have a great time and if you want to get some pages done find a crop and go have some fun...

I know you have such a good time when you go. I would love to find people to go to one with, but I know it's hard to believe I am shy and wouldn't want to go to one without someone I know. Non of my friends do any crafts.

  9. I also agree with Halloween, the weather usually is cooler, the rates up until this year was value (not any more). It has gotten so popular that they have raised the rates and it is hard to get a resservation. My other favorite is New Year's, but I also love 4th of July  -- to hard to pick.

He asked holiday Lorna not holidaze like the daze you're always in. Am I going to lose respect for being snarky?

I should click on the down arrow for you being snarky!!!

But if I am always in a daze how come I always (and Jen) bring all your supplies for camping?:rofl2:
