If we do Lanier, that would be the best campground. It's full hookup with no alcohol restrictions.

Kelly when I click on the link, it has i think 3 campgrounds? Which one should we book, how would we be sure everyone booked the same CG, also is there a site map, I didn't look real close but don't remember seeing one.

Sorry for all the questions, but here goes another one, when can we book, I saw someplace that we couldn't book until Jan.

If we decided to do Lanier, and can't book until Jan., we would have to be on the phone 1st thing on the first morning I am sure, since it's Memorial Day Weekend.

I am trying to find some information out on CG in the Panhandle, anyone have any info?

Or we could go back to Stn. Mtn., I would prefer somplace new, since we don't get to go out of FL. very often

where is it? is it far from Stn Mtn? and is it a state park, how soon would we have to book? does it have full hookups. I know I have heard about this place and I have seen pictures and it looks beautiful. How hard would it be to book Memorial Day.

Good news we are picking up our new camper tomorrow but bad news we can't afford to camp this weekend even though yall will be only 30 mins from us. Please keep me posted on when the pot luck is and we might just manage to stop in.

Usually this is the worst time of the year for them. That is why we stopped going in May. But the weather has not been as hot as usual so maybe they will be there latter this year. Hope so for your sake. I got so sick from them one year ( I had at least 20 bites).

Just won't seem like Memorial Day Weekend for me without hearing Lorna laugh and seeing Rich smile, hanging with Judy and Ken and the kids, hanging out at a campsite eating, laughing, drinking.

Me too! We had reservations up until last Friday because I kept thinking they would change their minds. Finally I realized that wasn't going to happen, so I cancelled my reservation. I'll be sitting at home for Memorial Day this year.

I feel soooooooooooo bad we can pick you up on the way. This will be the first MD in a lot of years we haven't spent together. We will figure out something for next year <3

If it is hot I plan on being in the pool with the kiddos. Not planning on Dollywood as we have decided on cutting our stay short and will be leaving on Tuesday. This house better sell soon, it is cutting in on my camping fun.

What!!!! No DF Chicken? ??

Noooooooooo.  I was thinking about it but since we probably aren't getting there until Fri. it's a lot of work. Now if I have time and can pound the DF crap (oh I mean Chicken) before we leave, them we might have it. Missy told me about some thin pieces of chicken that she found at wally world, and she said it didn't need cutting up or pounding and that would save a lot of work. If I can find that I will make it and everyone can be the judge if it tastes the same.

Glad you had a great trip. Love the pictures, I miss New York, problem is when I lived there I didn't take advantage of a lot of the great things there. I went to the City everyday for work. When I was younger we did take advantage of the night life there and went clubbing 3 nights a week. I was taken on a carrige ride around central park one year for my birthday and would love to do it again. Love the pizza!!!!

This is the first year in 10 that we aren't going to be. I knew we weren't going for the week and I waited to long to book the weekend.

Holly I am soooooooo sorry, we are going to sooooo miss you. But those of us who live in Florida wanted a change of pace since we only get out of FL one time a year. I wish we could go more than once, maybe next year we can come up with a place that is convient again for everyone. Other than Stone Mtn. is there someplace that you could make for the weekend?

Rich and I strap his on to the back with bongi cords. we sit the front of it on the back step and hook the top with cords. we also take the battery off. and then 2 people can sit on the back seat if needed.

Sorry not to piss anyone off, but I fail to see the humor in anything with that man in it. He makes me sick to my stomach.

Scott call them and tell them that you are part of FF, I know I was the first to make a rese and they gave me 10%, but when someone else called they told them since we were a group they would give us 20%, when I called the other day to change my days I checked on the 20% and they had given it to me.
