Thanks for the update. Would be neat to know the backstory on where the tanks (10 foot pole big gun) were covertly procured from......unless it was procured from Dave's property.

If I buy annual passes now for my Feb and Dec 2013 trips.....am I right that the passes will expire a year from the date I first use them in February?
-
Awesome Pics! Really enjoying them.

I am also a fan of Typhoon Lagoon. Thanks for sharing!

If we need new tickets we always purchase them through Undercover Tourist using the link in the monthly newsletter from Mousesavers!! Great deals!
Same here.

I like the Stuart Varney story Lou. He has been around a long time. I think he was a business contributer to Good Morning America when I was a kid.

Just read your TR in one sitting. Great TR and it sounds like you have an awesome family. You are blessed!

I also have used thermacells and they work great.

That's pretty cool....another cool story?

No, you have to go on the rewards website and request a redemption card. It looks like a credit card, and you load the reward points on it. Every time you use it to check out your balance will print on the register receipt.
Ok. I think I will check into that. We have thought about it before but never talked to anyone who actually used it to see what they thought. Thanks!

Have you ever had any famous people on your bus? Other than the Fiends of course.

We also do the Disney Visa card, paying it off every month. We've typically had a few hundred dollars in rebates to spend at Disney when we go, but this year we'll have a LOT more. I decided to upgrade to the Premier card. I am very much against paying annual fees on cards, but in this case for $49 I am earning 2% on groceries, gas and restaurants compared to 1%, and in addition for the first 90 days am earning 5% on those items! I'll get many many times the fee back in reward dollars, and can always step back down to the regular card in the future if I want to.
I use the reward points to pay for our meals out at Disney. I love going to Roaring Forks, Trails End or wherever our stomachs take us and just hand over the rewards card to pay. Easy and helps out with the invoice at the end of the stay. That envelope on the windshield is horrifying enough without it being several pages long of all the charges from your stay.
Dave, You just hand them the Disney Rewards CC and it automatically pays the bill with the accumulated rewards?

Just caught up on this thread...I cracked up laughing several times..,especially the eeyore pic. I appreciate the way some of these photos get taken.....like the PP pic. The dolls are creapy as all get out. I would have walked away from those people in a hurry. Booby Doo? Oops, I just threw up in my mouth a little...

Mmmm......beer... :doublebeer:

I think I heard somewhere that Phineas and Ferb were going to be a part of this but for the life of me I can't find it now. I can hear it now....."Mommmm! Phineas and Ferb turned Cinderella's Castle into a sand sculpture!"

Just looked it up.....another mystery solved! Thanks Lou!

Where do all the FW/WL/CR transport boats go at night? I have seen them coming from across the lake in the AM, but where do they dock them/store them?

I asked if Trails End buffet was worth the TS dining credit.. got now answer to the thread.
I didn't notice that thread before, but I just did a search and found it. If you or fam don't like the food at the HDDR, then you will probably not want to use a credit at Trails End. Much of the food is the same (chicken-ribs-sides, etc)

If you don't like the food at HDDR, you will probably not like Trails End. It is much of the same food.

Trails End! Best deal in WDW.
So what the heck is going on at Pleasure Island?

I will probably never bowl there either....unless there is a ton of rain days in a row and we are really hard up for something to do.
