I found purple lights at Menard's..

Is that a 12' string or is it two 6' strung together? I can only find purple in 6' length. It looks sweet and I want one! I may make several and use them for Christmas also. Thanks!

I am not a huge fan of the RFID being in a hospital/indoor waterpark type bracelet because I just can't stand wearing them. In a million years I would never attach a credit card number to a bracelet. At least with the cards you could keep them in a sleeve in your wallet to keep people from stealing your info. Everyone has their quirks and one of mine is NO BRACELETS. That being said, if I have to wear a bracelet to get my dole whip or turkey leg, I guess I will have to learn to live with it.

I read on another site that Fastpass+ will be starting to test with the RFID wristbands during the first half of May. I was not sure if I was allowed to post the link to the story here or not. I am new to the rules of the road. If someone could let me know....I will post the link here if allowed. If someone already posted this somewhere else.....my apologies.

OT: Anyone remember a place in Orlando/Kissimmee area called Place of Learning or Learning Place.....or something similar? It had a giant map of the USA and a giant chess set outside and sort of a hands-on exhibit area inside. I remember going there as a kid and am wondering when it went out of business (if it did), because I can't find anything on google. Maybe I am not remembering the correct name of the business. Not sure.

In all my trips to FW, even as a kid, I never thought to try to catch lizards......that would have been fun. We did have this peeping tom on the window the last time we stayed in the FW cabins.

My wife and I love Kouzzina and Ohana.

I prefer Dunkin Donuts coffee first and Tim Hortons second. Not a fan of the Starbucks.

If they didnt still have the old guy saying, "Please stand clear..........", I would boycott the monorail.

I figured it out TCD and here is the photo as promised. We went into a store in Downtown Disney and he immediately saw this helmet on top of a display and had to try it on. My son likes ND and Michigan but also likes the Gators. He is a big Tebow fan.

I grew up both a Notre Dame and Michigan fan.....although I have become a slightly bigger ND fan over the years for a variety of reasons. That being said Michigan-Notre Dame Saturday each year is sort of bittersweet bc no matter what....one of my teams will be saddled with a loss early in the year. I also have received quite a bit of job training from Michigan State and have also taught training classes there, but MSU fandom has not taken hold as of yet. I am going to try and add a photo (which you would like) from one of our recent trips if I can figure out how to add photos to a post. I have tried to add photos to a post and my signature but it says I can only post them from a URL. I am sure there is somewhere on here that will give me an explanation on posting photos, so I'll post it ASAP. AC

Thanks TCD! We will not be at the Fort until Feb 2nd or 3rd. It is supposed to be the 3rd, but I am trying to weasel my way into getting there on the 2nd instead bc the 3rd is Super Bowl Sunday.....and I dont want to be rushed before the game. If you are there, I would love to meet up, have a beer, and of course....get the spike! I remember the railroad when I was a little kid, when it was only running occassionally. I remember thinking it was cool and wishing it would have stayed after it was closed down permanently. I was telling my wife last night about you being picked as "that guy" numerous times. She loves that part of the show so she thought it was hilarious that you have been picked so much.

TCD! I have missed you on those "other" boards and always wondered what happened to you. Not sure what happened and really none of my business. I am just glad I have re-discovered you here! I read this report after also catching up on your Thanksgiving trip. I cannot promise that I will post much bc I feel like people on forums/boards sometimes misread things and then the internet world goes crazy on the poster. Regardless of whatever happened (you mentioned something earlier in this thread) I appreciate the time and energy that you put into these reports and I will likely lurk much more than I post. However, I came out of complete lurk-dom to say hello. New FF Member here! I cant wait for your next report and to check out this new site.....at least new to me!
