  1. Well, I will say that I saw this thread, read the first post and got nervous. I have a cart rental from Tee Time in December. Used them based on this site and others that all have high praise for Kenny. Feeling better now that the situation was obviously resolved. One thing that does bug me was the immediate assumption that the poster was an imposter or whatever and immediate hits. I agree, he needed to find out what was really going on. When I talked to Tee Time (not Kenny, someone else that works there I guess), I was explicityly told my CC would be charged about 2 weeks before arrival.
  2. Saw this on another site so figured it might be useful here.
  3. Don't like this at all. We're night people (getting to park at 10:30 a.m. would be early for us). Late night as crowds dwindle has always been the most enjoyable time at any of the parks, even AK when they kept it open. Still miss the E ride nights you had to pay extra for. Crowds were almost non existent. Well, now that we will be bringing the TT gives us an excuse to hang out at campground more. Still, just not sure why they would cut the hours and reduce a benifit on-site guest have come to enjoy and somewhat expect. Hmmm, wonder when they will offer special hours to VC owners only s
  4. Well, towing our 21 ft Aerolite with a Tahoe is about as much as I'd ever what to go with that vehicle. Actually thinking about switching our tow vehicle back to our old '98 Expedition. Tahoe is a great driving vehicle but just not great for towing. Handles the Aerolite OK but definitly know you're towing by the gas mileage and the RPM's. No way I'd consider anyhting longer than 24 ft or heavier than a bit over 5K lbs. Not sure if all have it but ours has air suspension which brings the rear up nicely.
  5. We will be going to the fort 2nd week of December. However, we're not sure if our older kids and grandchild will be joining us or not yet so we could have 2 to 6 people. Thinking about a few reservations for places we always like to eat at plus Mickeys Christmas Party. I guess we will get tickets for the Christmas Party for us and hopefully won't have a problem if the others decide to go. As far as dining, anyone suggest making reservations for the entire party now and scaling back if it ends up being just two or three of us.
  6. While we will be going to the fort for the first time in December, we have been to WDW many times and have stayed at almost every on-site property plus visited the fort quite a bit. We don't see staying at the fort as a money saver, although this trip will be compared to other on-site properties we've stayed at, just that we really like to camp and have always wanted to stay there. Many years ago we were in Destin around Easter (we had just been to WDW the Thanksgiving before). Rain had set in and wasn't going away. After looking at the forcast, the front was stalled north of Ocala, so w
