  1. I thought about that however I think I'll order the transparent vinyl decal materials for my cutter and have an exact match of the Mickey shape.
  2. Well, here is an update to the brake light. I got it mounted to the RV and the electrical in place. Then as I was mounting the lens I broke it! I did get the lens drilled out and was using button head ss screws but I do not like the look of them. I need to find a way to mount the lens without visible fasteners. I was able to do a quick check on it to see how well the brakes lit up and it was ok, not great, but ok. I think I am going to spend a little time and order transparent versus translucent this time around. On a side note, I did find transparent vinyl decals, never knew. I may
  3. I am using the 3D printer at work. Kicking around buying one however......
  4. Well here it is hot off the printer. Now I can start mounting the lights. Not sure what the blue stuff is in the picture, must be something on the camera lens....
  5. Plexiglass is a popular brand name for acrylic, like Scotch tape for cellophane tape. Another you here often would be Lexan for polycarbonate. Bottom line, if it is 1/8" thick and transparent/translucent red and some what sturdy I don't care what the material is.
  6. I just found the transparent red acrylic stock i need through TAP Plastics. $10 not a bad deal.
  7. I am looking at both of those methods now. I am now considering casting as an option also. I might need to have a short term solution to satisfy my lack of patience and a longer term solution for the durability. Usually however the Red/Green side of me "its only temporary unless it works" wins. I'll post pictures this weekend of the finished part.
  8. This is currently on the 3D printer and should be finished tomorrow morning. It is 9" wide and I cant wait for it. Now I just need to come up with a red lens, any ideas? tim
  9. We view the boats as much of our Disney experience as we do some of the rides, same with the monorail. We look forward to the boat rides, the kids always make sure to point out all of the shoes hanging from the tree as we pass by, and every one of our trips includes at least one go on the monorail starting at the Magic Kingdom and traveling all the way back to.......you guessed it, the Magic Kingdom. Some of the advice from the other board is downright humorous, some of it got me thinking about all the different ways to get around Disney using something other than a bus. After 17 hours in an R
  10. Poor Thor is staying home. He would be too much to handle for a long trip like that. He will be staying with a family member.
  11. We are going to be at the Fort 12/13 through 12/21 and could only get a preferred loop. The preferred loops are 100 through 300 right? Of those, which would be our best bet? I am hoping a premium loop will open up...... We have stayed in the 1400 loop and loved it and also the 1900 loop, nice, but off the beaten path. tim
  12. I'm glad there are others that have to use the RV to haul stuff besides me!
  13. Looks like yet another project......delete this thread before I see even more ideas for projects I have no time to complete. Luckily I can cut the fonts out on the old vinyl cutter : )
  14. We may need to start some sort of bartering system on the Fiends site for different services, projects, or talents. Now that I have read that to myself I see this going down hill rather quickly.....
  15. Darn you, yet another project to add to my already waaayyyy to long list.
  16. That is the coolest cart I have seen. I would say I am THE #1 Herbie fan, don't argue it I'll drag you down to my level and beat you with experience :rofl3: :rofl3:
  17. Most of you have seen mine already, nothing new, move along......
  18. I had a request for a Haunted Mansion Oval so here it is.....
  19. Ok, I finished the decal but until the rain decides to stop I cannot post the finished installed pictures. However, my DW Lori decided it would look much better in 2 colors and she was right. Here is the vector image.
  20. In all seriousness, let me know which ones you are wanting and the approximate sizes so I can get cutting. The ones in the picture are for a fellow Fort Fiend and I will be cutting more. I believe you want Chip and Dale, Tinkerbell, and the Fort Wilderness Hiking Mickey one? My DW Lori is so patiently weeding the one above as I type and you are more than welcome to it. Its 15" round. If you need a different size I can cut more. tim
  21. Cutting this one tonight......Just finished converting to vector.
  22. PM me your shipping info and i will have them out in the next few days.
