LOL Well I guess we all know now. I actually got caught trying to refill a old mug at the fort in 09. They told me no more refills in that cup.

The last time I used the online reservation system and did not turn it over to an agent, Disney canceled my reservation, kept my deposit and when I showed up for Halloween, overbooked the resort. They wanted me to go to Coronado Springs and leave my camper in the overflow parking lot. They were not happy about me running my generator to keep my stuff cold either. I told them I was not sleeping on anyone else's DNA. They told me all the cabins were full and put my butt in the overflow lot. I then was told 10 minutes after starting my generator that I had to leave because I was not allowed to camp overnight in the overflow lot. The security guard got a blue streak the size of half the United States of America. We even showed him the manager's permit to stay there and he replied, "Well, I am calling her."
"Go right the fuck ahead," I said with my arms crossed across my chest. "I'm not moving."
Needless to say, we paid for one of our three nights that weekend and I haven't let the reservation system have my reservations for more than three days on their own. My luck is just THAT GOOD! :banana:

Here is a picture of the Disney Flamingos after they have been out in the sun. It is sad that you pay all that money and they don't last that long. (these are not mine, but I know they have not been out that long in the sun...)

I remember staying at a Holiday Inn (or leaving one) on 192 (back when it was a 2 lane road :rofl2:) and we stopped to stay over so we could get to the park early in the morning. That was a joke because my family never does anything early. :rofl2:
We turned on the lights and there were 7 roaches on the beds and 9 on the walls. My sister screamed, I yelled an obscenity and got slapped and my mother said a blue streak that would make a preacher faint. (these are rare) We did not stay. :rofl2:
If you have ever met my family, you would completely understand this scene.

Here are 6 refillable mugs for 30 bucks and 10 bucks shipping. 6 mugs at 13 bucks is 78 dollars. So, this would be a savings of 38 bucks.

I would like to take the son on it and drag some adults along too. For the expense that it is, I would like to hear from someone who has done it to see if it is worth the price.

I have done all three. I think the phone is a PITA. I also think online is a PITA. I do like using a travel agent, but you have to find one that is dedicated to the fort and will constantly work with you to get the discounts. What are your thoughts?
BTW, these are, of course, IMHO (that would be in my humble opinion)

You can also be a cheap Fiend like me and buy them for less than the 14.00 a piece on ebay. I did this for my whole family that stayed during Thanksgiving. Now mind you, I have enough mugs in my RV to lend to a whole herd of Fiends, however, I happen to be a lazy camper...I don't have a dishwasher. I am the dishwasher. I have bought as many mugs at Disney as I have on ebay and in fact, on our last trip to the Fort, the poor ladies at the register were working all by hand, no computers. I actually felt sorry for them because they, unlike us old people who have, had never been taught to work without starting at a computer screen. (you mean I actually have to write the orders down?
) They gave us 3 free mugs! So, I have a plethora of mugs. I even go hunting for more on ebay that I like and don't have. :rofl2: If I am caught, I am sternly warned to get off ebay! :rofl2: -

If you are thinking of postponing to July, we might be able to do it and take the popup. I would love to take the MH, but diesel is almost 4 bucks now and it is not stopping. I just filled the truck up (and it is only a tacoma) and it was 67.90. I know the son wants a "bathroom and kitchen", but we may have to deal with a comfort station to visit with fiends. I don't have to report back to work until the 15th of August, so I am good until then. It will be a haul for us, but we can get there.

Tents can be rented, like this one pictured, for $30 a night from Disney. You must call to reserve them and Disney will set them up and take them down for you. This is in addition to your site rental per night.
