I saw from Santa Settles that there were sites open on Halloween that you could get reservations for! I know they were going for a good penny too. It is sad honestly. I long for the days when I could go for a couple weekends a month again. I wouldn't even mind the drive now that I am further away. I also wish DVC wasn't so freaking full all the time with their reservations. (off my soapbox now)

For those of you who need a download on apple of the app, it is under construction. Apparently France has made a coding requirement on the Apple platform that Supergeek needs to rewrite some things. Hopefully he can get a couple of minutes to himself and be able to tackle that without interruptions.

Has anyone been recently and seen more empty sites? Just curious.
-
no, you are not seeing it wrong some of the categories we listed don't have much traffic, but it is my aim to get people back here talking and to get new people here as well we don't have to talk about the fort everyday, I certainly do not post about the fort on the fb pages and that sometimes gets me yelled at, but I just don't care, lol

Fortfiends App on Apple
AuburnJen replied to AuburnJen's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Ok, so a bit of an update here... In order to get this particular update done, Chris has to crack open the code and insert a tidbit. He says that he believes that is going to cause some other things to go down, so this might take a little longer than expected. However, if you have already downloaded the app, it will still work just fine with no issues. The problem is going to be with anyone who needs to download it from the apple store. As far as I know, the google store is fine. -
Hey all, Jen here. It has come to my attention from another forum that the app went down and cannot be downloaded from Apple. Chris is working on the update now and will need to get into the app and code something for the country of France that is needed. While both of us apologize that it went off (because the update needed was not implemented) the store, we all (you included) have busy lives. Please tag me or send me a text if something goes down so that I can fix it. There are some days that I don't have a chance to check things. Chris says: "It is France's fault, 100% entirely."

I actually agree with you about burnout. Between work, social media posts for the side hustle and just life, I am really longing to get back to a forum. Please know that I will be posting much more in the future here to drum up some of the lurkers and get more attention. I do post almost daily on our FB pages and we have quite a following. I sincerely hope they will come back here.

Fort Fiends Facebook Pages
AuburnJen replied to BradyBzLyn...Mo's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Just so y'all know... I try to post on the Fortfiends.net and the Fortfiends FB pages every day. I may not always get to it each day, but I make a good effort. -
The fact that they still had sites available for the 4th tells you a bunch. The still had sites available with the whole 2100 loop closed. When I stayed there last week in the 2000 loop, barely half were occupied.
