  1. Oddly enough its not Lou; but as well as the theme parks some of us are interested in the transport side of Disney.
  2. I've seen from various sites people have been posting about how there is a revised version of the new livery where the base color is white instead of grey. However, I was thinking this might not be the case as it could be a quick way of getting vehicles in new livery by placing the new vinyls on the existing paintwork. Have you seen the new articulated buses Lou, if so were they in full livery?
  3. Some notes about transportation from my visit over the last couple of weeks: The new bus livery looks very good, with a decent amount of buses wearing it after the introduction of new Gillig Low Floors. I was also suprised to see after many people referring to the buses as glowing in the dark, this must have been a trial that was not carried out as I saw multiple new buses that did not glow. There were also a sizeable amount of RTS in service at peak times. Not much to report on the monorails, apart from Green appears to be out of service since its the only one I never saw.
  4. Its good to hear the new Gillig buses are in service and Disney are once again experimenting with electric buses. Is there any word on when the articulated buses are scheduled to arrive?
  5. Was it true that the Designline Hybrid caught fire? I also wouldn't mind the Gillig's as much if they had forward facing seats, or if they bought the BRT model but I can imagine it will cost considerably more.
  6. Disappointing Disney are not buying NABI's but still hoping they will be in service for June/July.
  7. Thanks very much for the information, clears up the various rumours that have been circulating. Never been on one of the NABI's but they do look very nice, certainly makes the Gillig Low Floor look dated in comparison.
  8. Thanks for the welcomes everyone! I have an interest in all forms of transport including buses and monorails, but ofcourse also Disney! I suppose I just imagined they would be Nova's since that was the demonstrator, though I read that on the Wikipedia article there will also be New Flyer artics, though not sure if there is much truth behind this. Personally I prefer the Novas from the point of view as a passenger due to the seating layout and I also find the Gilligs can be a bit rough under braking, however I have heard numerous drivers disliking the Novas! Hopefully whichever vehicles have be
  9. Great updates you provide, do you know when the new Novabus artics will enter service since I have heard romours they are due very soon?
