Maybe a yellow or light green shirt? Even pink would be better than black. I know you were going to be sweaty anyway, but wearing black in tropics? No thank you.
In any case, way to go on the run! I am inspired. Not inspired enough to actually do anything in this heat. But inspired enough to think about it.

Back in 1999, I took my one and only cruise. One of our ports of call was Freeport. It sounds very much like Nassau, without any of the upsides you mentioned. After a very short time there, we went to Port Lucaya. It was clean, friendly, more expensive, but worth it. I don't remember being traumatized by the transport there. I think the cruise ship had a van going.
Our other port of call was Key West and that was definitely the best.
The Midship Detective thing sounds fun!

I just got very sad thinking that since today is Friday, there will be no updates for a few days. Then I remembered that today is Tuesday, so that should be fine. Except today is Wednesday. These holiday weeks really mess me up.

My son just got back from a week long mission trip to Belize. They were doing construction work in 95% humidity. I bought him an inexpensive knock-off from Walmart and he said it worked great.

I had no idea! Someone posted that on Facebook today. She called them trailer cabins. I questioned it and she said they are on wheels and pulled out from time to time.
I guess you really do learn something every day.

The plan for Sunday evening was to head to DHS and watch the fireworks from outside the gates and then head to the Boardwalk to check it out.
I couldn't hear much of the music from outside the gates. I much preferred watching the Symphony in the Stars inside the park. The music really makes the show spectacular.
I think I wS getting extremely tired at this point. We went to the Boardwalk, but most places were for 21 and over. Sarah doesn't turn 21 until August. Instead, we got the dinners mentioned. The pizza was okay. I had read of entertainers performing on the Boardwalk, but all that was gone by the time we got there. :/
The next morning was breaking down the campsites and tearful goodbyes.
Before Sarah and I hit the road, we went to breakfast at Trail's End with Gretchen and Bill.
The ride home? I'll let Mo share about that.

I better finish my part of this before I forget everything!
The plan for Sunday was to try to new brunch service at Ragland Road. Nicole had decided we should wear ponytails that day. I texted her a picture to make sure my braids met with her approval.
Then, Sarah and I went to hang out on the porch of the Meadows Trading Post.
Eventually, we took a bus to Disney Springs.
Holy Hannah, was it hot and sunny. I needed a hat, so I bought this.
(My family decided the hat looked better on my 9yo.
I have to agree!)
While we waited for our table at Ragland Road, we got some drinks at the Irish bar just around the corner.
Eventually, we were seated and got to watch the Irish dancers.
And have interesting conversation at the table.
Then I took these pictures. Somewhere. Seriously pledging to write all future trip reports within 5 days of getting home.
I think we split up at some point. Before leaving Disney Springs, some of us got these photos taken.
I know I went swimming with Yvonne. That was my first ever time swimming at the Fort. Oops. No pictures.
I took some photos around the campground.
Anyone remember what we did for dinner that night?

I think I could still do Thanksgiving dinner in that kitchen. Lots of the sides can go in crockpots.
Does the other cabin have a separate picnic table/grilling area?
