Okay this just validates why SRC is one of my favorite places to eat while at Disney.
-
Fortunately i had just finished eating dinner when I started reading this. And no my leftover roast chicken is not comparing.
I know what you mean. The homemade pizza I was so excited about earlier all of a sudden seems kind of drab now.

Wow. I think that was my favorite update. ^-^

Just bring your sweet self, Liv!
Awe, that's so sweet, Cherie. :heartsmiley:
Friday- Partly couudy Hi 80 lo 61

Liv, I'm glad you will be able to come, don't leave too early, I have to go to a baseball game on Saturday morning and will be back hopefully by 2 O'clock
Thanks for the heads up, Bob. I'll leave Seymour around 7:00 cause sleeping in for me is 6:30. :rofl3: Seriously.

Can't wait to see you and Missy again! Surely, we'll be able to spend some time together this go around. :D
I still havent gotten a confirmation yet. Guess I better call maybe by now they will forget that they didnt want to book a site for me.Liv best bet is dont mention my name LOL
When I call I'm going to ask for the site right beside you!

What do I need to bring? Also, it may just be me coming. It's our annual camp out weekend at church followed by a talent/no talent show (seriously, that's what it's called) on Saturday evening. The kids have been planning on participating since last year. I'm horrible with directions so Dave and Bob, PLEASE have your cell phones on at all times and be expecting a call from saying I'm lost and don't know where in the world I am! Lance wants to come (& I want him to also) but he's singing with the kids which means we'll have to watch the clock. I'd rather not do that.
-
When I made our reservations, the website would not let me request a specific site #, just a loop...I think. I've slept since then. I better call them and make sure I'm near y'all!

:rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:
Even though I'm not here as much as I'd like to be, your longstanding "situation" with Ms. White is one I could never forget. Glad to see you two have called a truce...at least for now.

Except at a campground early in the morning or late at night :)
Yes. Of course! Campgrounds don't count! ( I can be found in my jammies at a CG. Too many fiends have seen me so I won't try to deny it.) ;D
I am anti-adults in jammies at Bi-Lo or Wal Mart though. (Yes DAve... kiddos going for ice cream in their jammies is not only acceptable... It is AWESOME!)
Dave, very genius buying those pro photos to take care of the grandparents Christmas gifts! They were fantastic and well worth whatever you paid.
YOu already know I love this TR so I'll spare all of the Oooohhhhh's and Ahhhhhh's and just say...
I'm so glad y'all approve of jammies in a CG. It seems I spend as much time in jammies as I do in "real clothes" when camping with Grammy.
Now PLEASE tell me it's okay to check the mail in jammies...I have a mailbox...I'm not going to the post office.

Wow...What an opportunity!
Enjoying your TR!
Your pics are awesome!

I know! Next weekend will be awesome!!! When do you expect you might arrive?
And don't worry about being hungry....Defeated Creek will take care of that!
I want to leave fairly early since it's about a 2 hour drive. That way by the time I get there Bob will just be coming to life...maybe. :rofl2:
-
Just a couple of random thoughts...
Next weekend can't get here soon enough! I can't wait to see you guys! :heartsmiley:
I'm thinking about canceling our December Fort reservations and saving the $ for a Disney cruise.
I wasn't the first bit hungry when I sat down to read this but now I'M STARVING TO DEATH!

It's seriously moved into the realm of mental illness for me! I don't want to use them, I just like having them! You have to put those boys to work chopping veggies and bagging!
LOL...are you kidding me? They ate me out of house and home. I did NOT want to put another morsel in/near their hands!
I understand the mental illness thing. I have some serious OCD issues about some things that I would not dare share in fear I may lose y'all as friends. :rofl2:

Thanks for sharing these pics. I visited WDW several times throughout the 80's and 90's but it was always with another family or on a school trip. My single Mom could NEVER have afforded a Disney vacation! I feel blessed to have had the Disney opportunities that I did have but I believe the only pics I own are from '91 Grad Night. I'm enjoying this trip down memory lane...thanks again!

Quit showing off, Rita. (I'm talking about all the meal preparation you've been doing!) I've had 3 additional teenage boys at my house since I got off work yesterday so I've not had time to go to Kroger to do my shopping for this. However, after feeding them for the last 31 hours, I have no money left in my grocery budget! :rofl3:

As jealous as I am that you get so much mouse action, I'm always THRILLED to read your TRs!!
-
Looking forward to the next update. :)

Ok this is gonna be quick and random...I'm in a hurry but can't resist commenting.
I was gonna ask if that was a steak biscuit, but I already know the answer. I haven't had a Hardee's steak biscuit in 20 years! TN Hardee's doesn't serve them. I could get one when I visit my folks in FL but my Mama is such a good cook that I have no desire to eat out when I am with her. And speaking of my Mama, she sounds a lot like your Mama...she doesn't have a problem with speaking her mind. She was just here for a visit and I made a comment about our tight budget and she looked right at my hips/thighs/butt and said, "Well I can look at you and tell you ain't going without food!" :rofl2:
Did I read that you said something about Ed being nice to YOUR Mama? Have I missed something...ain't she Ed's too? Maybe because I've been absent for a long time but I never realized how much she and Ed look alike! WOW!!
Your pics are AWESOME!!!

ADORABLE...GREAT JOB!!
-
Wow! And to think I thought Donnie was a pretty good guy 'cause he bought my little Gretchy a hot chocolate once.
-
Rita, I ain't coming up with nothin'...I'm just gonna copy y'all! :rofl2:
-
We've participated in Disney's Home School Days and/or the YES program for the last 3 years. My oldest wasn't crazy about it but he comes along for the park food. :rofl2: We've purposely planned our trips around these programs because of the ticket prices...you can't beat 'em!!
-
Okay I've been lurking on this thread for several days. Today is payday (translation: I can go to the grocery store) but I'm working until 9:00 p.m. and work 7-12 tomorrow, but I'll be heading to Kroger at 12:01. I've got my list ready!

Oh wow! I can't believe how much Ty and Bailey have grown. And Peanut is just so stinkin' cute!! She must get that from Kathy, right?
I wanna echo "Grandparents of the Year!" My Gretchen has begged for years to go to WDW for her birthday...in June. I have let her know there is no way in this lifetime that I'll fight the crowds or the heat over the summer.

Did I miss the chicken tettrazini recipe, Rita? If it's not too much to ask, I'd like to have it.
