thanks, lorna.  i will hold off for a while.  i am just thinking if there is a program out there that i could take the laptop to crops to cut with.  instead of buying a gypsy.  but, duh-- i can or should be able to put my design studio on the lap top.  i know i still have to take my cartridges but, i have them and why spend more money.

i did a lot because i got there later.  the girls were there at 9am and i didn't get there until 5pm.  so, they were done talking by the time i arrived. 

i will be there bright and early next month.  it would be so cool to do a disney crop with all the fiends.  could you imagine all the fun we could have.

you could ask some of the fiends on here if they have any cricut cartridges that they could cut out some stuff for you.  i will look and see what i might have.  but, i don't have any army carts.  but, if anyone has something that would work for you maybe they would cut and send it to you.  i will see what i have.

Do you have to have internet to use the SCAL?  or is it just a program to use on the computer.

A friend came to the Bichon Bash that we hold for rescue.  She competes with her dog Kirby in the dancing competitions.  He is a rescue she took in and kept.  This was a little dance that they demonstrated for us.

i use the hobby lobby ones.  disney ones i have are from creative memories.  but, i don't normally buy expensive ones.  no real reason why-just not that important to me, i guess.

Well you are surrounded by it Disney stuff on a regular basis, so I guess you get a pass on the nellie house :rofl2:

if i  could visit the world everyday-i wouldn't need it in my home or mh.  but, disney is my happy place and i need it all around me.  lol

dogcarbon i would love to see some of your pages.  i wish i could post some of the pages from dh's book.  i did one of all the cars we've owned.  did most of the pages in the cars theme.  but, i put it somewhere and i can't find it.  been gone for almost 2 yrs. :)

i know it is around somewhere and the two year mark is normally when i find stuff again. lol

AGREED- deep fried hotdogs are greeeaaattt!!!  we don't have them often.  but, the hot dog is awesome this way.

My favorite disney character is most definitely "TIGGER"..  he is just happy, go lucky and doesn't have a care in the world.

my favorite non-disney character would be "road runner".

i always have mickey font, mickey and friends, pooh font, pooh and friends in my jutebox (jukebox?).  i agree with holly, the pooh ones make good camping ones.  go to their site and go to the library-there you can view everything they can do.

zooboloo, cars, walk in my garden and paper pups are the next ones that i use a lot.  i haven't bought any new ones in a really long time.  i think cars was probably the last one i bought. 

SCAL lets you cut anything?  but, is it anything you have that you can load up on the computer or anything that you can find on the computer, too?

love the pics.  5 chi's and they say i am crazy. lol 

kelly, i had a bichon i fostered, from the shelter here.  he was a good dog.  but, he would hide all the time and not want to look at you.  the other dogs helped to bring him out but, he just didn't want to be near you.  almost like he was torn between sittting by you or not.  especially when he saw the others by you.  when he did come by us-we just let him sit nearby.  didn't pet him unless he felt comfortable.  he was a good dog.  i found him a perfect home with a couple i work with.  the husband is deaf and now the dog knows some of the signs.  it made the dog have to give them eye contact or he wouldn't know when it was time to walk or potty.  it is pretty cool to hear them tell me his stories.

i love rescue stories. :rofl2:
