In the later 80s carts could be rented, I remember trying to get my dad to rent one instead of ridign bikes around the fort.

hummmmmm, why not have the fireworks over at EPCOT and show the starwars in the Capt Eo theater? It could even be a specal ticket even for the theater. And it wold bring crowds over to a park they would not likely go to. And each of the countries could have a special Starwars theamed drink. Mission: Space could get a cheap overlay to help get people in to the ride.....Spaceship Earth could get the super lazer/planet destroyer wepon added on the the side for cheap.
Then the Starwars geeks would be going to both EPCOT and HS. so eather get a pass with an extra day or the park hopper add on.
Wow, someone didn't think this thru.
humm, the Friendship boats could be made to look like the Khetanna (sand ship from Jaba the hut).

The Ford campers also have horrible grandma looking fake wood panneling.

Does anyone know where I can find the Christmas time activity schedule for Hilton Head DVC?
We might stop by there after christmas on the way to my aunts house.

There are a decent number of people on popupportal.com with cpap machines, the consensus is to not use the humidifier function and to get a 12v power cord for it. 12v DC to 120V AC converters are not that efficient if your machine has a large power plug it will be stepping the power back to DC (voltage varies though). So with converters you are trowing away power 2 times. Converting from 12V DC to another DC V is very efficient and a lot of adaptors can be found at Radio shack or online.

For those that have problems backing up, borrow a car trailer and pratic with that. Being able to see over top makes it a lot easier to grasp what is going on. The rampshelp with learnign how to gauge distance using the side mirrors while still seeing waht you are backing up to.

I finaly got my wife to tow a trailer, while it was not the popup, it was my brother small 4x7 cargo trailer. She admited it was not that bad at all but she didn't like the clacking sound from the loose drawbar and hte empty trailer.
So, next time we go camping she might try towing a part of the drive before the mountains. Her only condition is no backing up.

What are you trying to power? It might work out better to reduce your power consumption rather then supply.

The more I think about it, I can see the bean counters demainding that the Osborn lights stay up and running thru January and to try and get biger crowds for the MLK holiday.
The lights stay up 1.5 weeks after Christmas, what is 4 weeks more?

meeeh, I have not watched it in years. It realy was not a parade but a 1 hour (?) commercial.

Humm, I wounder if they are selling the popups. #2 has the floor plan that I like, where the fridge can be accessed while the popup is closed up and it does not have a toilet or shower.
-
I also don't even need a back up camera or spotter. :-D

Reading about the problems you guys are having with the big campers/rvs makes me glad I and unhook mine and push it into the site by hand. :smug:

I don't use the coolers often enough to justify a Yeti, and I usually have access to buying more ice, the cheaper Coleman works good for me. If you want to up the insulation, look into making a set of ReflectX covers (bubble insulation from Lowes or Homedepot)

I don't understand the point of having to check in with a person if you are doing online check in. Just text me the room/site number and a link to the information I am suppose to read but never will.

Maybe, they could do the show on the world show case at Epcot with each country themed.

I spent 1hr at checking back during our Chrismas time vacation when the reservation system went down. The check in people had pads of paper and were figuring it out on the fly.
Last season for the Osbourne Lights
in WDW and Disney Park Discussions

Ecpot has sooo much more crowd capasity and for Christmas/New years it is where WDW tries to send guests to reduce MK from reaching max capasity.
DHS will have one of it's best quarters anyways and could reach capasity due to the Osborn lights alone. Heck during Christmas/New Years week, the park could wait and open at Noon and stay open until midnight or 2am. People would start at MK or AK and then park hop over to DHS and WDW sells more park hoppers. Or sleep in and get brunch at what ever Pleasure Island is being called now.
To me, it comes down to how to best manage the crowds and to not have to shut down the turnstils at any park. AKA keep the money coming in the door.
OOOOO, special starwars meet and greats could happen in the Wonders of Life pavilian.
Plus, adults drink more a Epcot andafter a few drinks you loose the ability to refrain from purchasing awsome Starwars stuff. Espicaly if the the magic band reader does a cool lightsaber sound at the cash register. (insert lightsaber smiley)
