  1. I am thinking about getting the gold annual pass instead of the silver just because of the photo pass included in it but I have a few questions about it that maybe someone here can help me with. 

    Will the photo pass work every time I go to the parks the whole time my annual pass is active for the year? 

    Will I get the ride photos on the rides that have them?

    Will my friends and family I am linked with on my disney experience also be able to use my photo pass from my gold annual pass?  Will I be able to download their photos as well?

    Does it work the same way the photo pass you would buy separately does or am I limited on hiw many photos I can have or do I have to pay to download photos?

    After I use my 1st 3 fastpass selections can I book 3 more for a DIFFRENT park for the same day?

     

    After I use the 1st 3 can I book 3 more or only 1?

     

    How many Fastpasses are you allowed to have in 1 day?

     

    After using your 1st 3 fastpasses can I book the new ones on my Disney experience or do I need to go to a kiosk to do it?

    My in laws just bought a used 27 foot travel trailer and we had our 1st heavy rain fall since they got it home yesterday . My husband and I went into the camper to check for any leaks. While checking we found that there was a pretty decent leak with water coming in the side window of the slide out. (as if someone was pouring a cup of water down it). We moved the couch so that it wouldn't get wet and we found the floor was separating from the side wall of the slide out and we lifted the carpet and you could see where the wood of the floor had also been wet. We also believe the leak has started from the roof of the slide out.

     

    We are now trying to find the best place to have this replaced. My husband brother in law and father in law would normally do it themselves with something like this but there is just no time as we have a family trip scheduled to go to fort wilderness at the end of OCT. We are located in broward county FL and my father in law would like to have the repairs done close by. Does anyone know anywhere we could take it to have the repairs done in or near broward county FL? TIA

    Oh and just to be clear that would probably not be valid on the campsites. 

    Thanks so much. Yes I'm sure it won't include the campsites that is so rare. We are going with my husbands side of his family. there will be 10 of us. We have 1 premium site for Oct. 21st to the 28th already. but my husband and I decided that we will try and get either a 2nd premium site for either the 22nd to the 26th or the 23rd to the 26th for while we and my brother and sister in law. or just get a room at port Orleans riverside.

  5. If you order it online and you are out of state, then you will receive a voucher that you activate on arrival and the clock starts ticking on activation

    If I order my FL resident seasonal pass now online. but not use them until we are back at Disney in either Sept. or November. Will they not activate for my year until we use them the 1st time or will they start counting down now? I'd rather get them now and save the money if possible.

    Well, I wish you had paid a visit to the Fort.  You are right about the weather.  I brought the good weather with me.  It was awesome from Wednesday afternoon until I packed up and went back home on Sunday.

    Yes, that was a lot of water.  It's been a long time since I've seen it like that.  But, believe it or not, I've seen worse.  I remember one time that we camped there years ago where every single ditch anywhere in the campground was full of water.

     

    As WBI says below, your chances of snagging that third FP+ are pretty good.

    Welcome.  The turkey cooking information is coming soon.  We will get to Thanksgiving morning in the next update.  But, the turkey cooking won't start for maybe two more updates.  There was a lot of looping on Thanksgiving morning.  We will get to the turkey cooking in due time.  I promise.

    Yes we are headed to the fort on Friday! So excited we haven't been there since June and we are usually there in October but this year we were to busy with our wedding. How wet were the loops when you left? We are hoping to be in 1600.

  7. Correct. As long as the magic bands everyone has are in the same reservation all will feed into it. 

    Ok cool so all we have to do is wear our magic bands and our ride pictures will automatically be added to it? or do we need to go to the photo counter after the ride to have it added? and then the photographers just scan our bands after they take our photo in other places besides the rides?

    Ok thanks Jason. I see the confirmation number for it under my reservations and ticket area but when I went into my family and friends area and went onto my DH it shows zero memory makers for him so it confused me. is that just because the memory maker is assigned to me?

  9. Considering doing the memory maker this trip. I have a few questions.

    First will the memory maker recogize eveyones magic band that is under my reservation?

    As DH and I are there the 5th - 10th and my inlaws will be there the 8th- 15th. Under the same campsite reservation and they are all under my disney experience because I do the booking for my inlaws. So I wanted to make sure the memory maker will still work for them when DH and I leave since they wont have my magic band.

    Does memory maker work during mickeys Christmas party? For ride photos as well as other phots we take with disney photographers?

    its a one time fee for the memory maker per trip right? And I can then download all of the photos taken by disney as well as the ride photos to my computer?

  10. The amount is up to you, I think I have 4 strands 2 I picked up last year and 2 this year il be putting on. I think one strand will fit around the roof I dont dont remember exactly as last year we also had some solar lights on it that were similar. The problem with the solar lights was they were dusk to dawn type and every time we drove by a light they shut off.

    Thanks so much! I picked up 2 last night. I may pickup 1 or 2 more before our trip. my DH and I love them! Thanks again for the suggestion!

    We have some of these from Home Depot. They have held up well, work great and let you change things up from white to colored, to flashing and also have a timer setting or can be manually turned on and off.

    I debated going the battery and inverter route this year but these worked well last year and seem like less trouble then bringing an extra battery, charger, and inverter that I have to worry about charging and dissappearing.

    If you have your own cart and it has a 12 volt adapter for your headlights / horns and accessories some inverters can be hooked directly to your cart but then you have to take into account the battery drain on your cart to run the inverter and your lights.

    I am going to go to home depot to pick some up today. How many do you usually put of these on your golf cart?
