Now, that's a fire!
Don't think you can have one of those at FW....
Haha nope we defiantly can't have one like that at the fort. This was a crossover for the new boys joining the troop so it was a big ceremony. We even had an underground cable running to the fire so that one of the leaders could light the fire from his seat making it look almost like magic to make it extra special. The next day everyone there also got a small baggie of ashes from the fire so that we can add those ashes to another fire later and then gather those ashes and keep doing the process over and over. we added ashes from across the country that someone in our troop had to that fire. very cool experience.

Hawk, sharp shin, Coopers, Red shoulder or another I do not know?
I believe it was a red shoulder but I'm not positive.

I feel like these last 10 days are going to take forever! We opened up the popup yesterday to let it air out and so I can straighten up and restock it for our trip since it hasn't been opened since our last trip to the fort in January.
There are a few things that we keep in house and not the camper because it wouldn't be too good in the camper in the FL heat. We also keep a damprid bucket in the sink of the camper when its closed and this time when I opened it the bucket was full of water and the damprid crystals were gone! Gotta love FL humidity.

I wasn't able to get a picture of it but there was a mickey lamp post in front of one of the campers there while we were camping. I got all excited when I saw it! LOL

No clue. I'll take a wild guess. Jungle cruise?
That was another ride that popped into my head when I saw it too

I went to Highland Hammock the last weekend of April with a boy scout troop I am involved with. It was a lot of fun. The park is so nice. I still love the Fort more though.

Hmmm. A few things popped in my head when I saw that but i'm going to guess KRR at Animal Kingdom

We get there the 31st as well. I booked fast passes for it that night. So my 1st experience on it will be in the dark.
Awesome. We get to orlando on the 31st but my FP+ isn't till the 3rd or 4th. So unless TCD or another fiend gets there earlier. I might be the first non-CM to ride it.
Does anyone else have FP+ before me or planning on being there before me? -

Blah! that is no fun. of course this is going on when I'm about to take a trip that I want to use the pool a lot because it is going to be hot and I didn't get a golf cart this time.

Don't know if anyone will be around in the near future but the 1500 loop is still closed "for a while." NO date set as to when it will reopen.
BTW, they are upgrading campers to premium that had partials reserved. Put one up today. In fact this week ALL our campers are in premiums and preferred. That's weird.

We like the Yachtsman Steakhouse, Ohana, Trails End, Via Naploi, Sanaa, Boma, Narcoosee's, Citricos, Biergarten, and a few others.
We were not impressed by Kona, Tutto Italia Ristorante, Portobello, Le Cellier, or BOG.
We love yachtsman and Ohana too!

They've improved the Internet tremendously so here's an inside and verandah stateroom on deck 6.
Thanks for the photos that looks GREAT! Hope you enjoyed your cruise.

Don't cry just yet! The entire Disney reservation system has been wonky all day. I've been trying to shuffle some dining reservations around and it's driving me batty.
It's possible that's what you're experiencing.
Try back again later or even tomorrow.
Fingers crossed that's what it is.

That makes me feel a little better thanks!

I just went to book a campsite for the beginning of December 2014 and there is no availability at the fort in the beginning of December even when I played around with dates and even checked for long periods of time. I think I am going to cry. :TantrumSmiley:

Anyone ever sailed on the Disney Wonder recently? How is the ship?
Also which do you think is better Grand Cayman or Cozumel?
-
My preference is DCL. We won't do anything else. In fact, we just got back yesterday and as Jason will attest to, we booked an Alaska cruise while on this last cruise.
As for waiting until you have kids, unless you have a desire to gamble, as Jason wrote, Disney caters to adults as only Disney can. There are a number of large adults only areas including entertainment. If you're a Disney person and are willing to pay more than what you'd pay for other cruises, we and everyone we travel with that has done it, highly recommends Disney.
I really am leaning towards DCL. I think it would be a blast no matter what we did on the cruise. And castaway does look real cool.

How did site turn into baked?!? Geeze
Its ok i'm glad it did ......it made me laugh

Ok what about a balcony room in about that area do you think that would be ok too?
I will add one of my clients does get seasick even on the cruise ships sometimes. He has to have an inside cabin in the middle of the ship about halfway up and he is good there.

Ok so far we have decided we want to have a 5 night cruise if possible with an option of snorkeling . with the ship leaving from FL.
What are some suggestions about where on the boat to have our rooms and which type of room? I have never gotten seasick before but Chris has once on his ocean boat so we have to think about that too.
Also suggestions on which cruise line? We are both Disney freaks! But we aren't sure if its best to do a Disney cruise now or wait till we have children to bring along.

Do you want to just relax? Do side trips? Are you into the beach? Snorkeling?
We love to relax and a lot of times people watch or just enjoy our view and we also enjoy being able to do new things so yes side trips would be fun. we don't dislike the beach but we live 15 minuets away from one and are there very rarely. Snorkeling would be fun. The fiancé loves fish. He's out fishing now while I'm doing this haha.
