Hi guys! We are here at the Ft for the second week of our 2 week visit. Been to two parks and it feels WEIRD. So basically just relaxing at our site. Brings me to my question. Has there been a problem with the WiFi? We are in our same loop we usually have and the WiFi has always been great. But this week I keep getting booted off. Frustrating. Has the Dominion found its way into the Ft's internet? (Lol)

Thank you for the infoHopedully in the next month maybe things will be a little bit more normal

I'd be concerned about taking your grandson, unless you're prepared to stay at your site. While they might not say anything, until they drop the mask mandate who knows what could happen. No doubt it would be very upsetting if you get there and find that they have gone back to strictly enforcing this rule. I've heard stories of CM stopping guests driving their own golf carts, riding their bike and even a guest walking his dog alone...all required to mask up. Personally, I find it insane and we will not go back until the mandate is dropped. I'm not going to put a mask over my children's face. But, we're okay with not going back... this year we've traveled over 7k miles and spent time in 10 states (outside of the time we've spent camping in our home state of Georgia). Not only did we not cover our faces, but we were looking at the other smiling faces around us.
Another thing to keep in mind, is I'm not sure if they've re-opened the playgrounds at the Fort?? If Disney has decided to keep those closed, and your grandson loves to play on them, he probably won't understand and it will be upsetting. Not sure there, but just a thought.
They might not say anything... but if they do, it would be upsetting. I hope whatever you choose, you're blessed with your time with your little guy.
Thank you for info. My son is a Lt with the Fire department and his beautiful wif is a nurse on the front line After the long hours they have put in in the last 8 months we all need to get away. Even if it means staying at the Ft at our site. We are working along with his teacher to teach him to wear the mask. We shall see

Ok perfect. I think by Wednesday 11/04 there is going to be a lot more laxations. Lol

Hi guys Well we had our cruise cancelled for the end of this month. So when we rebooked, lost the room we prefer. We didn’t get to renew our Florida annual passes. But we still are coming the first week of December. Two questions, can you still fax site request? Also have they relaxed on the mask mandates when riding around on your golf cart? We have a 4 year Autistic grandson who will not wear a mask. So he won’t be going into parks. So now we are concerned about going to the park or even riding around in our golf carts looking at the Hooday decorations. Thank you in advance

When reflections is completed, will DVC guests have access to the Ft? They should actually be putting new camp sites At the Ft for us regular people

In November we were given one for our stay. Previously we either get one or are told they don't use them anymore, they will scan your Magicband. Seems to be hit or miss; no consistent policy. We've learned to ask for one if we aren't given one.
When we asked about it we were told the same thing. They will scan your magic band. To me it seems to be more of a headache. At the studios, she scanned our band then asked for photo id. Then she she realized we were resort guest. We also noticed that very view utility trailers in the parking lot were permit less.

We arrived last Sunday Dec. 1. We were very surprised when parking permits that go on your dashboard, are not being used anymore. Does anyone know why? Also this past weekend I have encountered more than usual rude guests. So between all the changes at the Fort and the rudeness, this has been one heck of a stay.

Sounds wonderful! You should be proud

OMG Thank you ritguy I will be looking and stay on top of it tonight. Wish me luck

Here we go again. We started last December to make reservations for our yearly10 day stay at the Ft. (We stay Dec and March every yr for the last 20) No reservations in 12/2018. Eventually my TA was able to “start” reservations with 3 days. Between her and I, I have 7 of the 10 days. 12/1-12/4 and 12/8-12/11. Not panicking yet but getting a little nervous. How can anyone plan a trip without having the days in the middle? We go every yr at the same time with no problems till last yr. what are my chances of the 3 days opening up before thanksgiving?

I totally agree I actually hate FP. Trying o make plans in advance hurts my brain It is also frustrating all the FP rules Disney has. I personally wouldn’t be sad if FP were eliminated

Hi guys. Again I am having problems getting 10 days in December 2019. I do have 4 days with gaps in between. The rumor I hear is what’s happening is people r booking reservations in order to get ADR and fast passes early. Then they cancel hotel reservations and stay off property. But I read disney is on to them. They r thinking of when you cancel your reservation then your fp r cancelled. Anyone else heard or read this rumor? If so that would be awesome! People must stay up late trying to figure out ways to scam Disney. Lol

Those should be banned....along with wagons.
I thought wagons are banned or it used to be when my boys were little. If they aren't they should be How do they get on the buses or trams?

On top of everything, my TA and I decided to make reservations for next December. She can not find anything available the first 2 weeks of December 2019

Sorry I can't help with advice. I use Jason, so I've never dealt with it. Sounds aggravating though. Good luck.
I have always used a TA We go to WDW 2x. a year for the last 20 years We always stay 10-14 times every time We have never had any problems till now. And we started these reservations last December while we were still at the Ft.
-
This is absolutely aggravating me. Still can’t get 12/7 and 12/8. My son was able to get his two days I had found a full hook up at 12 am today and at 6 pm no FH but tent site. Both were only for 12/8 And yet my My Experience is down UGH
-
Thank you I actually do use a TA used the same one for years. Funny I had no problem getting 10 days in March The last time we had any problems reserving was many years ago when they were redoing the loops and they would have a entire loop closed But they were able to finish up before Dec But I don’t thinkthats the case now

Hi guys. We are still in a pickle. My son and I made our annual December reservations last December 2017 while we were still at the Ft. We always spend 10 days the first of December. The only way we were able to get anything this year is having 2 reservations. As of now have 12/2/18-12/6/18 plus 12/9/18-12/13/18. We are getting a little nervous because Dec is getting close. My son is renting a trailer package that he needs to give definite dates for. The thought of taking down all of our holiday decorations.....well I don’t want to go there. Has anyone had any luck yet in getting weekends added to their weekday reservations? When should I start panicking? I have a feeling what is happening to the weekend reservations. Wish the Ft could do something about it Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Thank you so much for your help. The reason I like to have a monthly “bill” is so that most of it is paid off when we arrive. But if anyone is interested, Disney responded today with the correct address. They said if it is for room only reservations
