Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Why don't you just rent the cart for half the days you are there? That would save you half the money, but still give you 5 days to enjoy looping around the campground. As everyone has said, you don't need the cart for transportation, but if you have one you will see how much more fun the campground can be with a cart. TCD

I totally agree. We've been to the fort many times without a cart and several times with one. Our trips until 2006 were cartless. We didn't know what we were missing. Now that we are able to transport our own cart to the fort, we can't imagine being without one.
GaDawgFan.....Kelly 799
I would do what TCD said. Good advice.
Millermouseketeers MaryAnn 150
We have done it both with & without. You will have an awesome timeeither way. It's convenient & fun with but not necessary. Totally doable without. Are you in Cypress, Texas? I am north of Dallas.
cypressaggie 0
Yes, we are, Cypress, Northwest of Houston, I know there is a Cypress near Dallas. I am still not sure about the golf cart, we keep spending money getting ready to go, may have to skip this time, the unknown of gas expense has me stressing.
