twiceblessed....nacole 433
Okay.... so I purchased the basic controller (Primus IQ) as the reviews were good and our camper is not huge (under 3800 lbs) so I was thinking that this should probably be adequate (hope I wasn't wrong?!). THEN... I actually braved it and installed it myself. Not difficult, except for finding the actual plug which was hidden waaayyyy the heck up under the front dash (who designed that??!!). Question that I have, is if I mounted it correctly. I actually mounted it twice, as after the first installation I realized that it was not facing straight forward (with the flow of traffic) which is what the instructions called for. Now I'm concerned that it may be leaning a little towards the passenger's seat and not completely level. Is this okay?? I tried to upload a pic to this post, but the "techie" in me (which is to say... not) couldn't figure out how to do it :-
YENSIDCAMPER 66
My prodigy sits at about 50 degrees vertical from level and is slightly turned from straight forward due to the curves in the dash board. It works great with a 3500 lb camper. Go out to an empty parking lot and give it a try.
Helmsey......Todd 134
That unit does not need to be level to work, can be up to 70 degrees vertical. The front to back doesn't have to be perfect, just enough for the pendulum inside to do its thing when the brakes are applied.

I would say 10% to the right.
arthuruscg 34
Mine is not perfect either but it works just fine. I can make it correct my moving one side out a click or 2 with the flush mount. Sent from my Moto X using Tapatalk
Helmsey......Todd 134
I'm going to guess 10% is not going to make a big difference as it will still be able to sense deceleration and send appropriate voltage to the trailer brakes.
