This is why we take our dogs to Best Friends while we're out at the parks.

We don't go during the hot months.  If we did, there's no way I'd feel comfortable leaving them without some sort of alarm/alert system for temperature.

If we still had our hybrid there's no way I would take the chance leaving them.

This TT takes quite a while to heat up, even parked in the direct sun.  They hybrid heated up pretty quickly, even in the shade.

We have been looking at auto-generator-start controllers for just this reason. Anytime it senses a call for more power than is available (i.e. shore power is absent) it will start the generator. This means that if you are dry-camping and the batteries run low, it'll kick on and recharge them. And if in a CG and the power is interrupted and there is a call for AC it kicks on and when power is restored it'll shut off. Might be $800 well-spent (yes, it hurt a little to type that!).
