Mike Neal's colorful and plentiful photography brings to life Julie Neal's words in "The Complete Walt Disney World 2011."

An updated edition of one of the most thorough Disney World guidebooks, ?The Complete Walt Disney World 2011″ by Julie and Mike Neal, is now on shelves with even more family friendly features than before.

A hallmark of this particular guidebook is its plentiful, gorgeous photography of the popular vacation spot, and this edition is no exception with 530 photos.

?Probably most obviously, the book appeals to kids because of the photos,? said author Julie Neal. She says they can help kids ?easily choose which ride they?d like to go on or which animal they want to see.?

For parents, there are many details beyond the descriptions, maps and schedules to help them make the most of such a special (and expensive) vacation, including:

** Planning your trip: This section shows how adults can involve kids in all aspects of the process ? from announcing the trip and saving money to counting down the days and helping children face their fears of certain rides.

** Family matters: Tips for most attractions that relate to parents and children. For example, the book details how high to fly to be spit on by the golden camel on Magic Carpets of Aladdin.

** Being the chosen one: Some of the best memories at Walt Disney World revolve around being chosen for a special experience. The book teaches parents how to get their children picked for activities such as the Jedi Training Academy.

** Walt Disney World A?Z: This comprehensive section includes information about child IDs at Orlando International Airport, birthday party options and prices, babysitters, Disney Dollars, face-painting, lost children, makeover salons, Quinceanera celebrations, sun protection, tea parties and youth groups.

** Character guide: Here?s where to find Mickey Mouse and 80 other Disney stars. For parents with young children, this information is key to finding favorite characters.

As with previous editions, ?The Complete Walt Disney World 2011″ contains ?fear factors? for every ride and show listed with the attraction; height requirements; unique swimming-pool features; and children?s activities at each Disney resort.

The guidebook sells for $24.95 and is available at bookstores worldwide and online.
