Disney Princesses don't talk very much

Just listened to an interview with a researcher from North Carolina,  Karen Eisenhauer, on the CBC, about how the Disney princesses have changes in their speaking parts over the years.  

I can't find a link to the interview but here's the story in the Washington Post about it -

Now I know why I like Merida better then the Frozen sisters!!!

Now I know why I like Merida better then the Frozen sisters!!!

 

That because Merida kicks butts and takes names.  Don't mess with her!

Merida is my favorite followed by Rapunzel.

The Frozen sisters were not that impressive and the movie hype was way overblown.
