Tri-Circle-D 2,059
The Fort gets a brief moment of recognition on this Disney Blog Entry:Stay on the Run at WDWIt's about places where guests can go out for a jog at WDW.In the video, at about the 1:17 mark, they show a campsite at the Fort. Here's a screen cap:Does anyone recognize that site? With all the coquina and the old grill and picnic table, you might guess that it's a full hook up site. Or it could be a preferred. But what full hook-ups have that kind of open space behind them? A few on the 1600 and 1800 loops do, but I think this is some old footage of one of the sites on the 1400 loop that backs up to the campfire area. It also could be one of the first few sites on the outside of the 300 loop, which back up to the playground there.Anyone else have a guess?TCD

Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Good guess. That big cypress tree at the front of the site should make this one easy to spot. I don't see a canal behind the site- it just looks like an open grassy area. There aren't many sites like that. It would be easier if we knew for sure whether this is recent footage.TCD

BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
The first few sites on the right going into 300 are somewhat open and grassy behind, and from some it looks even more open and grassy because you can see across the canal to the dog park area. And there are a LOT of big cypress trees on that loop (hence Cypress Knee Circle?) In fact we're STILL picking them off the camper from November.
PureTcrazy...rita 380
The way the site drops off like that, I'd think the 1900.
