Dohany Street Synagogue, Budapest March 1999

The refurbishment of this synagogue was mostly paid for by a Hungarian Jewish actor named

Bernard Schwartz, you probably best remember him as Tony Curtis.

Cool! Did you go there for a certain reason or just a trip?

Two day stop on the way to Brasov, Romania, for a missions trip.

Those are great pics, H.  Thanks for sharing.  I might have to post some pics of mission trips that Lance and I have taken.  A couple of years ago Lance went to the Philippines and got sick as a dog.  He lost 10 pounds in 10 days.  The kids and I didn't even recognize him when he got off the plane.  The next year I went to Germany.  I gained 10 pounds in 10 days.  Lance and the kids didn't recognize me when I got off the plane. :rofl 2:
