Had a great time this weekend!!  We were able to meet Nacole and family!  Missed getting to meet Kelly!

Perfect weather - started to storm right at the end - made it to the shuttle just in time!!

Snarky went on a trip with us and HumphreyBear and families - here are some highlights!

We stayed here -

Visited  Cape Hatteras Lighthouse

played on the beach 

Visited the Wright Brothers Memorial - but Snarky stayed in the backpack -

Had some lunch

We had some Donuts - best ever! 

Flat Snarky visited Anchor Down in Dandridge, TN over the weekend.  It was  a nice balmy 98 degrees - 

He really wanted to have S'mores made in this wonderful fireplace - but since it was 98 degrees - he decided not to  

So, he decided to just enjoy the view!

I hope to post more pictures and a small trip report later today :)

You would have had a bit of campfire sing-a-long noise there in the evenings though, no?

I'm not even seeing the sorcerer's hat online.

It was on there yesterday - but said sold out - they must have taken it down due to not having anymore  Hopefully the store in the park will have some when you are there.

Disney online store has gotten some more charms back in stock.  Sadly the sorcerer's hat - says "sold out" but it may change...

worth checking on.

Wish I had known - they had plenty a couple of weeks ago at Uptown Jewelers.  Hope someone can check for you.  It is supposed to be back online at some point - but they don't know when.

My son had the roast beef sandwich - he didn't care for it at all - had an odd taste to it.  I had the braised pork - it was SO good.  The Master's cupcake was also delicious!

We were in site 1431 - wonderful site!

You will have a magic band because you will be staying on property, due to that being the "key" that opens the gate and the comfort stations.  They should send them to you a few weeks before your arrival.  You can go online and customize them if you want to.  

Tickets are still separate for the MNSSHP, but can link the ticket to your band.

I know that Swan/Dolphin, Boardwalk, and Yacht & Beach Club are all there together.  You can walk to Epcot from these places - you enter at the International Gateway between England and France.  

From the Fort, we took a bus to Epcot and walked around a while- then a boat to Hollywood Studios (from Epcot) for the kids to meet some friends, then to the Boardwalk for some exploring, then the boat back to Epcot, and a bus to the Fort.  It makes for a nice break in the middle of the day.

What a mess this morning - I made mine, but the online system there was an error and didn't confirm the reservation. and that I needed to call Disney Dining.  All phone lines were busy, and when finally did get through was told that they were doing "enhancements" to the online system.  So 4 hours later finally found a nice CM who looked through all the reservations and found that the one I made this morning that showed an error was actually in the system.  I could have hugged her!  So, I have one, but it was chaos!
