  1. So we are reading the "Unofficial Guide" to DIsney. As first timers, we haven't had the chance to explore the parks before, and we plan to go in off season. Is it worth paying for one of the unofficial guides trip planners?
  2. We are planning our first Disney Trip, and have narrowed the time frame down to either last week of October / First week of November, or the First two weeks in November (2 adults, 4 kids under 4). In both cases, we would be arriving on a Sunday. We see that in the first week of November, Disney does the switch from Halloween lighting to Christmas. What do you think of this plan? Are there other times in October / November you would reccomend, or suggest we avoid? Second question, I see references on her to booking campsites at FW, and paying only a one night deposit - how do you do that?
  3. Put it up on ebay with a reserve and see what happens.
  4. We are planning a trip to WDW, and have three kids 3 and over, and 1 who will be 1 or 2 at the time of the trip, depending on when we go. The youngest doesn't require a ticket to get into the parks. Without a ticket, can we take him on rides at all?
  5. Well, knowing prices have been increasing, we've bit the bullet and bought four of the five tickets we'll need, so we are locked into the lower price. We'll get the additional tickets once we have all the reward miles we need, or we'll just pay for the extra tickets with cash. Disney, here we come.
  6. Great report. We had been debating about our first Disney trip......and I'm reading this lying in bed, suffering from a man flu. Have to say I'm interested in the F-Bombs and mouse turds, but your thread prompted me and DW to stop debating (we've just bought 7 day tickets for the family).
  7. I have an ice fishing shelter of the same design. It works well and stands up to the wind.
  8. Hi We are planning our first visit with four kids, aged 7, 5, 3 and 1. We plan on a 10 day trip, using a 7 day magic your way ticket. We will be camping with a pop up. What loop would you recommend?
  9. We are planning a trip from Dryden, Ontario, Canada (north of Minnesota) to FW, and we will be driving. The route will take us into the U.S. via International Falls, Bloomington, Nashville, Atlanta, Macon. We have four kids, ranging from 7 to 1 years old, and will be towing a pop up. The drive is about 30 hours. We are thinking of a 14-16 day trip, with 10 days at FW, and a 7 day Magic your way ticket (the other days we'll explore FW, or visit some local attractions). Our options for driving are - straight shot, starting around 4pm, or doing one or two stops along the way. If we do a s
  10. Not an airline - it's a Canadian rewards program named Air Miles.
  11. New user here. We are planning a 10 day trip to FW, and are thinking of getting a 7 day Magic Your Way ticket. We have an option to get the tickets using air miles that will be expiring later this year, so the tickets would be free. I understand that once we first use the tickets, they must all be used within 14 days, but after we purchase the tickets, how long will the tickets last before they expire?
